A man on a Beijing subway was arrested after a video of him hiding under a seat — creepily grabbing women sitting above him — went viral on Chinese social media, Shanghaist reports.
The 30-year-old suspect, whose surname is Zhu, was taken into custody on Monday, according to the Beijing Public Security Bureau.
Subway harassment isn't uncommon for Chinese women: Last summer, authorities published guidelines for women to prevent unwanted attention, which included covering themselves with "bags, magazines and newspapers" and not wearing "minimal clothing."
