Former Vice President Dick Cheney's doctor ordered the wireless function of his defibrillator disconnected by the manufacturer in 2007, fearing a terrorist assassination.

60 Minutes reports that Cheney's doctor feared a terrorist could assassinate the vice president by sending a signal to the device telling it to shock his heart and sending it into cardiac arrest.
