These Shelter Dogs Dressed Up As Prince To Help Find Forever Homes

Animals strike serious poses.

Mindy Naticchioni, the shelter's director, told BuzzFeed News the shelter's volunteers often promote their dogs for adoption on their Facebook page where they dress the pups in various outfits.

But with the tragic death of Prince last week, the animal shelter's volunteers saw an opportunity to honor the late artist's legacy by having the animals strike some serious poses.

"I think it's obvious we're all still mourning the loss of Prince," said Naticchioni. "We're saying good bye to him by putting it on the friendly faces of dogs."

Nesquick, a "flirty" 3-year-old Spaniel mix, "thinks she's got the look," said the shelter.

Naticchioni said Rosie, Nesquick, and Lisa are all available for adoption. Ladybug was adopted on Tuesday.
