Candy Crush maker King may have had a disastrous IPO, but that hasn’t stopped them from attempting to crack new markets by hook, by crook, or by truly bizarre Japanese television ad. King, which yesterday announced the opening of a Tokyo office, has seen its cash cow rise to No. 14 in Japan’s top grossing chart on iOS. The following ad stars an actor and a boy band member, and, well, just watch it for yourself.
