Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney squared off against five-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield Friday night.

The boxing match took place in Salt Lake City and was a fundraiser for Charity Vision, an organization that fights blindness worldwide. Charity Vision hoped to raise $1 million at the event.

Ring side tickets to the bout went for $2,500, and the event also included an auction.

And then, because he is a good sport, Holyfield went down.

But eventually Holyfield had enough of Romney's shenanigans and chased him around the ring, at which time Ann Romney threw in the towel.

Romney said he wanted to make sure his boxing match with Holyfield was “as clean as Hillary Clinton’s server.”

Romney after boxing match with Holyfield: “I’m ready to take on Harry Reid’s exercise equipment next.”

Romney to Holyfield: “Please, champ, don’t beat my brains out, because if you did, I’d have to become a Democrat.”

Charity Vision announced afterward that it had exceeded it's goal of raising $1 million. So, mission accomplished.
