These Heart-Wrenching Photos Of A Day In The Life Of Syrian Rebels Just Won An International Award

Photographer Goran Tomasevic won first prize at the World Press Photo Contest in the “Spot News Stories” category, recognized for his brutally intimate portrait of opposition forces in Syria.
