Passenger Marisa Catronio, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Kaitlyn Ferrante, 20, was taken to Broward Health North, where she later died. Mendoza was also transported there and is in serious condition, the Miami New Times reports.

An investigation is under way, and Mendoza has not been charged yet.
