Country Music’s 15 Brightest Rising Stars!

These 15 young artists are making waves in Music City and beyond, which is why they were hand-picked to appear on this year’s Official 2015 ACM Awards ZinePak.

1. RaeLynn

Song: “God Made Girls”

This blonde bombshell’s preferred method of travel on the Certified Platinum Tour with Miranda Lambert? Her flying unicorn, naturally!

2. A Thousand Horses

Song: “Smoke”

These up-and-comin’ country rockers are road warriors in every way, and they’re hitting the pavement with Darius Rucker on tour this summer!

3. Cam

Song: “My Mistake”

This cool chick is a California gal at heart, but her sweet songs have tons of country sass. She’s not only an amazing singer and songwriter, but also a bangin’ banjo player!

4. Dallas Smith

Song: “Wastin’ Gas”

This Canadian cutie’s got some serious songwriting chops (and amazing tatts). He’s toured with Florida Georgia Line and his singalong-worthy debut album Lifted has us feeling, well, high!

5. Mickey Guyton

Song: “Better Than You Left Me”

This Arlington, Texas, native has an amazing voice and she hit a career high note with her Grand Ole Opry debut at the historic Ryman Auditorium back in January!

6. Old Dominion

Song: “Break Up With Him”

They’re five seasoned Nashville artists who’ve come together to create an awesome band with a signature sound to match. The Virginia natives know how to make the crowd go wild.

7. Katie Armiger

Song: “Cardboard Boxes”

Between embarking on her first international tour and recording at the historic Abbey Road in London, 2015 has already been an exciting year for this fiery singer. You go girl!

8. Logan Mize

Song: “Can’t Get Away From a Good Time”

Logan’s love songs prove his heart is as big as a Kansas sunflower field. Maybe that’s why his catchy song “Sunflowers” is being used as his home state’s official tourism song!

9. Native Run

Song: “Good On You”

Native Run duo Bryan and Rachel grew up just 20 minutes from each other in the rural sprawl of Northern Virginia. Over a decade later, they found themselves singing together in the same church and, well, the rest is history!

10. Steven Lee Olsen

Song: “Raised By a Good Time”

He’s a songwriting pro, penning songs for everyone from country legend Garth Brooks to Westlife. It’s safe to say Steven is kind of a big deal!

11. Kelsea Ballerini

Song: “The First Time”

Kelsea had a hot date this Valentine’s Day—the Grand Ole Opry! During her performance she announced The First Time as the title of her debut album,
but we’re certain this won’t be the last time we hear from her!

12. Josh Dorr

Song: “Save Your Breath”

You’d never guess this country crooner needed a nudge from a friend to perform in the school talent show!

13. Aaron Parker

Song: “Heaven on Wheels”

We love Aaron’s ten-gallon hat and sweetheart ballads! And when it comes to pre-show rituals, he likes to raid the catering table, pace around, and talk to his momma! Aw!

14. Kaitlyn Baker

Song: “Coal Train”

At seven years old, Kaitlyn climbed on a stool in church and sang her heart out. From that moment on, it was evident she was destined to sing!

15. Mitch Rossell

Song: “Any Girl”

This self-made man built his personal brand in a big way, including starting his own record label and building strong social media presence. Respect!
