Not-So-Scandalous Harlem Habitat For Sale

“Scandal” star Kerry Washington has left the building at 312 W 115th St. in Harlem, but her former beau, David Moscow, still owns the property, which he has just listed for $2.95 million.

Washington, who is pregnant with her first baby, broke it off with her former finance in 2007, but she lived in the building when the two were engaged to be married. The circa 1900 building has a restored façade and stained-glass windows and measures 3,500 square feet.

Moscow bought the place in 2004 for $990,000, and since then has become an avid investor in the famous New York neighborhood having privately funded one of the

area’s first low-income green housing developments. Current Harlem home values hover at $828,000 and are seeing an increase of 29.6 percent year-over-year.

While Moscow continued to live and invest in Harlem, the Bronx-native Washington moved on … to Hollywood, where she bought an apartment and where she is marred to Nnamdi Asomugha.

Madonna Sells in Beverly Hills

Madonna’s Beverly Hills home that she once tried to get $28 million for has found its new owner. The Material Girl’s estate had been last listed for sizzling $22.5 million, but has been claimed for $20 million.

The 17,000-square-foot mansion belonged to Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie, who paid $12 million for it, then had it remodeled. It features 9 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a 2-story dining room, full-size home theater, gym, pool and tennis court. While Beverly Hills real estate is always on the pricey side (the median home value is $2,634,600), anything over $20 million is on the higher end side of things. Most homes for sale in the area are under $10 million.

Madonna has been ensconced in her $32 million Georgian townhouse in New York City. She also owns an estate in Bridgehampton, NY.

New Yorker Wannabes

Guess L.A. isn’t quite enough for some people.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen are said to be bidding $14 million on full-floor condominium with big views of the Big Apple.

Likewise, Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Koppelman are phoning home in their new Upper East Side digs. According to reports, the couple is buying an $8.3 million Park City duplex. The remodeled unit has 4 bedrooms and 3 fireplaces – good for cozying up after Barrymore gets her little baby girl down for bed.

For Brady and his runway-ready clan, the new NYC digs run 3,100 square feet and come with 3 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. The master bathroom is said to be especially perfect for an NFL veteran star in need of a tub to soak his aching bones.

The condo is located at the storied One Madison Park, a modern skyscraper that first hit the market in 2007, wobbled through the economic downturn, only to find interest from high-end buyers like Leonardo DiCaprio and Vera Wang.
