WASHINGTON — Former Sen. Rick Santorum told reporters at the Faith & Freedom Coalition that he is opposed to President Barack Obama’s immigration announcement ending deportations for some young illegal immigrants.

“I thought it was an arrogant power grab,” Santorum said. “For the president of the United States to say, I’m going to unilaterally change the enforcement of the law, is something that if a Republican would do, they’d be crying for impeachment.”

As he was shuttled into a conference room, Santorum was asked whether he agreed with the substance of Obama’s decision. The short reply: “no.”
