Romney Wins In Illinois

    Santorum still can't score win in the industrial midwest. Delegates to be determined, though Romney will win majority.

    SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has won the Illinois primary, winning his third straight victory in the industrial heartland.

    Romney, who has continued to struggle in the South and among his party's most conservative voters, is set to win a majority of the 54 delegates up for grabs tonight.

    Exit polls show Romney leading in the state by 10 percent, performing strongest in the more urban counties upstate, while Rick Santorum is polling best in the more rural counties in the south of the state.
