Portman To Campaign In Ohio With Romney Next Week

    Three stops across the state.

WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney will be joined on the campaign trail by Ohio Sen. Rob Portman next week when he campaigns in the swing state, according to a campaign source.

The stops in Ohio on Tuesday — three of them — come at the end of Romney's bus tour across battleground states.

The source did not know whether Portman — mentioned as a top contender to be Romney's running mate — would be joining Romney in other states on the trip.

In Virginia on Saturday, Romney will be joined by Gov. Bob McDonnell, and in Florida he will be accompanied by Sen. Marco Rubio.
