1. Give it time.
You won’t build an audience right away.
2. Be yourself.
Followers can tell when you’re being inauthentic.
3. Don’t over-edit yourself.
Trying to reach perfection can be scary.
4. Interact with your audience.
Create a dialogue so they feel a connection.
5. Collaborate with other YouTubers.
You double your audience reach.
6. No subject is off-limits...
You can talk about anything you want.
7. ...BUT make sure you’re comfortable with the content.
Remember -- you’re putting it out there for everyone to see, including your parents.
8. You can read your comments...
...but forget the negatives ones immediately!
9. Lighting! Lighting! Lighting!
You don’t need a fancy set, but you do need good lighting and sound.
10. Keep it short and sweet.
No one has a long attention span these days.
11. Create a schedule.
That way, your audience always knows when to expect your next video.
