Really?! Half of this stuff looks like trailer-trash carnival worker wear and most of it looks like it might last through a half-season of wearings if it isn't washed.

My curiosity has been piqued. I've read many reviews from beauty bloggers who claim to have found their Holy Grail in some e.l.f. products. Alternately, I've read reviewers who are decidedly against the "cheap" quality of e.l.f. skincare and cosmetics. Who's telling the truth?

Some Burt's Bees chapsticks and lipsticks have a cinnamon/mint "zing" to them. I happen to get one with the "zing" and suffered immediate red, swollen lips that peeled like crazy for two weeks after I put the stuff on. Check that label.
