    1. Rubber floor mats to protect your carpet from slush and mud.

    Amazon

These are designed to fit most vehicles and can be trimmed to get a perfect fit!

Promising review: "These mats are well worth the purchase. They're thick, well-made, and have little teeth that ensure they don't move. I was doubtful, but they actually keep the mats in place. FINALLY. I have paid more or around the same amount of money for mats that didn't even come close to comparing to these. Gonna buy them for my truck as well. I'd gladly pay twice what these cost as great as they are." β€”Vanessa Rutherford

Get a four-piece set from Amazon for $19.99.

    2. A dual-ended vent duster so much easier to use than cotton buds or tissues.

    Amazon

Promising review: "These are AWESOME! I always had a hard time cleaning the air vents in my vehicles and would use a cleaning solution with cotton buds. This is SO much easier. Comes in a pack of three so I kept two and gave one to my mom!" β€”Sadie&Dove

    Get a three-pack from Amazon for $6.99.

    3. Or, a can of cleaning slime that'll mold itself to fit any crevices and pick up all the dirt.

    Amazon

    It is nontoxic and biodegradable.

Promising review: "I accidentally put my phone in melted chocolate a week ago, and I was freaking out. It was stuck in my silencer switch thing, but with the help of this stuff and a toothpick, I got it out. I also cleaned my keyboard, and it worked great. It has alcohol in it so it kills germs, too. I'm definitely loving this stuff because I get so grossed out by nasty keyboards, and when my computer is dirty, I can't stand it. I think the price is good, too." β€”Jess

Get one container from Amazon for $14.47+ (available for home and car).

    4. A bottle of leather cleaner for someone whose worst nightmare is getting their pristine leather seats dirty.

    Amazon, amazon.com

This leather cleaner comes with a microfiber towel!

Promising review: "I really love this cleaner. It doesn't leave any greasy film. After cleaning the interior of the car, it looked brand new. The back of the passenger seat was a mess from my grandson kicking it while in his car seat. The TriNova cleaner removed the marks easily. I will continue to buy this product." β€”Deb

Get it from Amazon for $15.98.

    5. A polishing kit to make your dull headlight lenses look like new again β€” it'll work with any standard household drill.

    Amazon, amazon.com

This kit contains sanding discs and a polishing pad with compound.

Promising review: "Totally worth it! My headlights were old and cloudy, and this restored them to looking almost brand new again! It's definitely worth the money and time to do this yourself, instead of a $100–200 replacement for your headlight lenses. Note β€” the kit comes with an attachment to put in your drill, so you do need a handheld drill to use this product. You'll also need painters or masking tape and a spray bottle (to spray mists of water on the lens and the sandpaper). Essentially, this is just a smart kit that uses three different levels of sandpaper that you attach to a pad that you hold in the drill. The drill does the buffing work for you as it spins, but you just have to be patient and thorough to follow the steps. It took me right about 60 minutes to do both headlights, and I can't believe the difference it made. I'm super happy with the results and would definitely recommend this!" β€”D. W. Brace

Get it from Amazon for $10.50.

    6. An air freshener so you can always get that new car scent.

    Amazon

    Get a six-pack from Amazon for $7.99.

    7. A wheel cleaner that'll make cleaning the rims a little less tiring.

    Amazon

Promising review: "My truck rims had lots of road grime which a tire brush, soap, and other cleaning products did not remove. I thought I would give this product a try after reading reviews and auto blogs. After the first application, I could see so much improvement. A second application and some light scrubbing with a wire brush was all that was needed to get the grime off. I am impressed with this product. Please, seriously consider adding this item to your car cleaning supplies." β€”SC

Get it from Amazon for $16.97.

    8. And a flexible brush for getting into all the nooks and crannies like between wheel spokes, the area between the rotor, and the inside of the wheel.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I don’t mind washing my car... except for the wheels. With brake dust getting into every little corner, cleaning the wheels alone is 30% of the total car effort. This saves 50% of the time required to clean my wheels. Great device." β€”Daryle V. Scott

Get it from Amazon for $14.79.

    9. A moisture absorbing packet to hang up if your car starts smelling a little musty.

    Amazon

These last up to 60 days depending on temperature and conditions.

Promising review: "These things work like a charm. I accidentally dropped five gallons of water in the trunk of my car. I couldn't take every single particle of moisture out, and there was this musty smell in my car. Believe me when I say this β€” I looked into this product, I hung it in the trunk, and the next day, the sack was FULL of water. Like magic. Smell went down to 50%. I hung another one, four days later, FULL of water. Next thing I know, no more smell. This product is MAGICAL!!!" β€”Talha S

Get it from Amazon for $10.99 (available in two scents).

    10. A waterproof seat cover so you can take your four-legged friend for a ride and not worry about getting fur all over the place.

    Amazon

Promising review: "This is an amazing product. This works wonderfully for the back of the truck for my Siberian husky (who sheds like CRAZY). It keeps my car clean from fur, dirt, and even mud. My husky gets quite hyper and moves all over the car, but this product is HIGHLY DURABLE. What I love about this product is its ability to be easily moved and fit in any car. So, if I ask someone to look after my dog(s), I don't feel so bad about letting them use it! Plus the pockets on it are great for toys, treats, a leash, a ball, or other items. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!" β€”Garcia

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    11. A detailing tool that'll restore windshields and windows to a sparkling clear state.

    Amazon

Each cleaning tool comes with two washable, reversible, and reusable microfiber cleaning bonnets!

Promising review: "Just what I needed. It's really tough to reach the corners of the windshield of my Prius and with this, it is a breeze. I am now looking through a totally clean windshield for the first time in ages. I love it!" β€”P. Sorensen

Get it from Amazon for $14.99.

    12. A pack of melamine sponges (and a little water) for wiping away stubborn coffee stains.

    13. A scratch remover to buff out surface blemishes on your car and possibly save you a trip to the auto body shop.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I had a few noticeable fine scratches on the hood of my truck that I tried this Trinova Scratch and Swirl Remover on, and it worked. I no longer have to be annoyed every time I approach my vehicle from the front! It didn't take a lot of effort to get it back to looking like new again. I will use it again in the future if necessary. I'm glad that I didn't pay someone at the body shop to try to buff the scratches out, I saved a bunch of money with this!" β€”Bonnie Walton

Get it from Amazon for $19.97.

    14. A carpet and upholstery cleaner for erasing all evidence of spills on the seats.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "Unbelievable! I should have moved my son's car seat more often but I didn't, so there were DISGUSTING stains from who knows what under there! I've only done one cleaning, and it's amazing the difference already! This is easy to use and worth every dime!" β€”Rhiannon

Get it from Amazon for $12.40.

    15. A pair of kick mats that'll keep the backseat free of muddy little footprints.

    Amazon

These water-resistant kick mats fit most minivan, SUV, and sedan seats.

Promising review: "These kick mats are kinda a lifesaver. My car has cloth seats, and they were getting pretty dirty from my almost-two-year-old kicking them all the time. With these kick mats, my seat is nice and clean. I also happen to have a black interior, so these fit the bill perfectly. If and when it ever bites the dust, I'll certainly order another set." β€”Scott Kielty

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $15.70.

    16. A car waxer/polisher for anyone who treats their ride like it's their best friend.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I did a search for 'The Best' orbital polishers and one list had this listed as #2. I love it. I have tried the fancy, multiple-speed polishers that cost hundreds of dollars. I found them heavy and noisy, and most require two-handed operation. Not the Black and Decker! It is light, whisper quiet, and you can easily use it one-handed. I have detailed three cars with it, and every one has come out fantastic." β€”Jim Swift

Get it from Amazon for $29.97.

    17. A bottle of glass cleaner to get your windows so clean, they'll look invisible.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I discovered this glass cleaner when I was looking for something to replace the Windex that I have used for years. For whatever reason, it seems Windex has changed its formula and there is streaking that I can't seem to eliminate. I just tried Invisible Glass spray on a whim, and I LOVE IT. My windows have NEVER been cleaner. NO streaking and they are so clean as to go 'invisible,' hence the name, I suppose. :)" β€”Zoo Keeper

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $14.95.

    18. Silicone cupcake liners you can use to line the cup holders β€” just empty them out and wash them when they get dirty.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Funny thing is, I didn't order these for baking. My friend wanted them to put in the cup holders in her car. Those cup holders are difficult to clean but not when you have the baking cup in them. You just take the baking cup out and wash it, then put it back. This works great, especially if you have little ones in your car." β€”Jennifer Simpson

    Get a 12-pack (jumbo-size) from Amazon for $18.50.

    19. A small but powerful car vacuum that'll suck up pet hair or cookie crumbs.

    Amazon

It comes with an extended tube, a crevice nozzle, a brush, and a carrying bag.

Promising review: "It’s definitely quiet for a vacuum and has some amazing suction for its size. I like the carrying bag they include, makes storing it in the car easier, neat, and overall cleaner! The reusable filters are a big plus because you only have to worry about rinsing them out and drying them rather than throwing them away and buy replacements every once in a while. Seems durable and hope it lasts. It’s definitely worth the little investment rather than paying for the vacs at car washes, those definitely add up! And the convenience of using it anywhere is the best." β€”Flavio

Get it from Amazon for $23.86.

    20. A pet hair remover (sort of like a pumice stone for fabric) for picking up everything your vacuum can't.

    amazon.com

Some reviewers recommend wearing gloves while using this because it has a rough texture.

Promising review: "This product lives up to its name. Dog or pet hair cannot simply be vacuumed up. Some hair will be picked up by a vacuum, but for the most part, the hair will remain embedded in the carpet. I used the Fur-Zoff on the carpet of my car, and it sure did the trick. It literally picked up the hair. And after you get the hair piled up, just simply vacuum up the clump. Be very careful around edges of plastics, etc., because it will scratch it. I accidentally got careless and knicked the bottom of my center counsel. Around the edges, I would recommend a rubber bristled brush. Just brush the hair to the center and let the Fur-Zoff do its thing. Now I can understand why car detailers charge extra for pet hair removal. It is very tedious but well worth it. I highly recommend this product. And it doesn't cost much too, which is an added bonus." β€”Geo

Get it from Amazon for $8.55.

    21. A compact garbage bin to collect all the empty water bottles and used napkins.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Absolutely love this thing! My car used to be a mess all the time, and now I can keep it clean with this wastebasket that doesn't get in the way, yet holds all of the trash." β€”mattphat23

Get it from Amazon for $9.99. Or, check out a larger option.

    22. A pack of microfiber cloths so you can polish off the interior and exterior of your prized vehicle.

    Amazon, http://ttps://amazon.com

Promising review: "I bought these to use on my car, both after washing and to remove dust or scuffs on the inside. Pollen is heavy in Central Florida. Dampen one of these slightly, and it comes off no problem. If your towel leaves little fluffies after a car wash, a quick wipe down with these, and it looks spotless. They even work when people get deodorant on the side of my cloth seats. A firm wipe-down with these, and it takes it right up. I bought this color choice to match my car, and they fit nicely. Overall, I'm very happy with these, and my car looks great after washes now!" β€”Mikey Chinchilla

Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $15.48 (available in 11 colors).

    23. A bamboo charcoal pouch that'll neutralize any odors, if you prefer your car to smell like nothing at all.

    Amazon

Promising review: "This product is a MIRACLE! Mistakenly left a package of chicken breasts from the supermarket in my brand new Audi. Subsequently went on vacation for 10 days. The chicken was left rotting in the car in the garage for 12 days! I can't begin to describe how wretched the smell was on our return. We aired out the car for days β€” still stunk to high hell! Used two bags of Moso (one small, one large). This activated charcoal really works. After one week, the smell was significantly dissipated. Now at the end of two weeks, it is virtually gone. Wow! Thank you, Moso for saving my car from dead chicken hell!" β€”JAC ESQ

Get it from Amazon for $9.95 (available in three colors).
