    1. A hair finishing stick to tame stubborn cowlicks and flyaways so your 'do will look super neat. It's like a big tube of brow gel — but for your head!

Promising review: "I have been fighting 'baby hairs' for my whole life! This product calms my messy loose curls and doesn't make my hair stiff the way hairspray does! I can't believe I've lived my life without this product. This is my new favorite hair styling product!" —bananabarry

Promising review: "I don't normally bother with reviews, but I just have to review this planner. I bought this back in November and have been using it since late December. I carry it in my purse all the time. I run a small direct-sales business and this is what I use to keep track of everything with that and personal stuff as well. I have spend up to $60 in the past on planners and I have to tell you, this one does everything they do AND is small enough to carry with me, which I love. Don't look at the price and think you're not getting quality. This is a quality product and it has quite a few extra features and pages in it that I love! I WILL be getting another one of these for next year, and it will probably be my new planner from here on out." —new mommy '16

Get it from Amazon for $16.95.

    3. A pair of warm and stretchy Athleta leggings that'll not only be perfect for workouts (they definitely pass the squat test), they'll also look cute for running errands on an off-duty day.

Promising review: "Warm, durable, not bulky. I wore these today during a four-mile outdoor run. The conditions were 36 degrees with sleeting snow. They kept me warm! They aren’t bulky and they stood up to a little dog biting me on the calf, without any punctures! It was a tough run today, and the Altitude Tight was up to the task!" —Jae

Get them from Athleta for $98 (available in sizes XXS–XXL and four colors).

    4. A pack of Mighty Patch pimple patches for helping to absorb giant zits overnight so you don't have to deal with them in the morning.

Promising review: "These little patches are outstanding. They work just as advertised. This is the first acne product that worked just as I hoped. Put the patch on an annoying blemish at night and in the morning, there will be white gunk on that tiny little patch. Brilliant!! No downside to this product. Does not cause drying or flaking." —Robin V.

    Get a 36-pack from Amazon for $12.50.

    5. A pack of bodyweight exercise cards to get you out of a workout slump. No equipment or gym membership required.

Promising review: "I am a visual person and as a fitness instructor, these cards help me in class. I lay them out on a bench and when I’m teaching, I can quickly look down to see what the next exercise is instead of trying to pick up a paper and read. These cards also help me stay organized with my class plans and keep things fresh for my participants. They will never get bored in my class.

I also use the cards for my own workouts as well. I have even learned some new moves!" —Shalynne Barr

    6. A compact Echo Show 5 for catching up on the news before work or catching up with family via video chat — and that's just two of the many, many things this lil' gadget can do.

You can use the Echo Show 5 to watch movies, news, and TV shows, listen to songs (it'll even display lyrics), radio stations, and audiobooks, get weather and traffic updates, build to-do and shopping lists, and more — all via voice command. You can also ask Alexa to turn on smart home devices, make calls, or order an Uber. Bonus: you can personalize your device by choosing a favorite clock face or album from Amazon Photos.

Promising review: "So you should probably know ahead of time, I am an Alexa addict. ADDICT!!! I am a flight attendant and the first thing I think when I walk into a hotel room is 'Alexa, lights on.' Then I realize there is no Alexa and I sigh. I wish I could figure out a way to easily take Alexa with me while I travel. (And yes, I travel with the Fire Stick, but it's just not the same Alexa experience.)

Having said that, I love this Echo Show. It is just the right size. When I'm on a trip, I can pop in on it and call out to my kids to come to the Alexa so I can talk to them face to face from my Alexa phone app. The picture takes a minute to clear up on my phone, but the calls work out well. It also only shows the ceiling when you pop in on it, so you don't have to worry that anyone who video calls you will be able to see anything (or that government can see all of your moves). There is also a little button that allows you to physically cover the camera with flap so no one can see on the camera if you don't want it.

We also use it for recipes, lights, the thermostat, to control our TV, and to learn words to songs. I love that it shows the current weather outside all day and will flash to the week's weather forecast as well since we live in Chicago and the weather changes hourly.

I highly recommend getting one." —ET Barton

Get it from Amazon for $79.99 (available in two colors).

    7. An insulated tumbler that comes with a straw lid so you never have to reach for a disposable plastic straw. Plus, it'll keep your drink cold as you sip on it throughout the day.

I put some ice and water in this through the night, I woke up, and the ice was just as it was when I put it in. If you're iffy about this, get it. You won’t regret. Best purchase ever." —Loretta

    8. A mini Crock-Pot so you can skip the microwave line at work and heat food up right at your desk.

    It has a 20-ounce capacity, a dishwasher-safe removable container, and a spill-proof lid.

Promising review: "Love this food warmer. I use it for lunch and dinner at work every day. I meal prep by freezing big batches of food in small freezer-bags and place them inside of coffee mugs so the food is in a shape that will fit in the Crock-Pot. I let the food cook from frozen for about two hours and it comes out perfectly." —Karen w.

Get it from Amazon for $23.36+ (available in four colors).

    9. A dryer + styling brush to give you smooth and volumious locks in no time. New hair, who dis?

Promising review: "I have a lot of hair. A LOT. Like, wow, who-is-that-Wookiee-over-there LOTS. I have looked into having a third arm surgically implanted (Is this a thing? Who would do it? Vascular surgery? Orthopedic surgery? These are the questions that keep me up at night. 🤔) because my shoulders are so tired holding up a dryer and a round brush for eternity. I briefly considered making a workout video (Toned Arms: the Hairdryer Workout) but was informed by fitness people that there isn’t a market for a 75-minute focus on the anterior deltoids. I almost have to wake up BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP in order to have enough time to dry my hair before work.

This thing took me eight minutes. I naturally assumed, upon finishing, that I had entered some sort of Amazon-created beauty time warp. I checked with my husband, in the next room, and in fact, I did not go through a blowout wormhole. The silkier-than-silk style was accomplished by this miracle of a brush in eight minutes (several more minutes were lost to running my hands through my hair and flicking it over my shoulder while smiling coquettishly in the mirror).

If you struggle with an overabundance of hair like I do, seriously consider giving this amazing contraption a try." —Chris

Plus you can do the 'Risky Business' slide." —DanielDJr.

    12. A reusable and washable microfiber cloth so easy to use, you'll never go to bed without taking off your makeup again. Just add some water and wipe — it'll take less than a minute.

Promising review: "I purchased this based on some positive reviews, and they can't even touch how amazing this product is. When I purchased this product, I did so because I was tired of using mascara removers and washing my face and still having mascara or makeup on a makeup pad while swiping toner on my face. Well, that problem is now gone. This product seriously does what it says — it erases makeup! I could not believe the way it removed my makeup the first time I used it! You use it for a week, toss it in the wash, and use it again. I was wondering how it would clean up in the laundry, and it looked brand new — no mascara was left after it went through the wash. It is amazing and if you're considering purchasing it — do it! No more chemicals to remove that makeup!" —StaceyB

Promising review: "This is really aesthetically pleasing and perfect for meal-prepping. My healthy salad and veggies look so bright and colorful — people often comment on how delicious my lunch looks, and it’s usually just a green salad. The crystal-clear container really makes it look appetizing, and the seal is super tight. I’ve thrown soup in my purse and carried it around all day without worrying. I’ve always preferred glass, but these are so light, nestle so well, are super easy to clean, and so drip-proof that maybe I’m a convert. I immediately purchased another set as soon as I got the first." —Joy3888

Get them from Amazon: a lunch kit for $13.04 or a 10-piece set for $13.76

    16. A bottle of makeup brush shampoo so effective, you'll actually want to wash your brushes more often.

    Facebook: ecotools,

Promising review: "I admit it. I'm terrible when it comes to taking care of my makeup and brushes. I don't care if it's past its prime; if it still works, I'm using it. And those badger brushes I paid a ton for? Pretty sure they were still holding onto powder and eyeshadow from six years ago. So in a rare moment of responsibility, I finally broke down and started looking for a brush cleaner.

So how did it work? Well, I can happily say that this cleaner does a bang-up job! My brushes were saturated with old color, to the point that I thought I might need to spring for a new set. Aside from just looking bad, though, all that old color was probably affecting pigment and application any time I used them. A little of this cleaner, a handful of seconds working it in and rinsing, and my brushes look practically as good as the day I bought them! Saved me a ton of money in new brushes, and it didn't take away from my being-lazy time!" —ysar

Get it from Amazon for $4.79.

    17. A bitter but harmless clear polish to help break your nail-biting habit for good.

Promising review: "I have been biting my fingernails as long as I could chew. I grew immune to the taste of the no-bite nail polish you can buy at drugstores. I tried keeping a rubber band on my wrist and popping it every time I noticed myself chewing. This nail polish has been the only thing that has worked. I keep a bottle on my desk at work and another one at home just in case I slip up. I had the first manicure of my life a few weeks ago. Amazing product." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $15.50.

    18. A set of colored pens perfect for starting a bullet journal or writing color-coded notes.

Promising review: "I buy a lot of art supplies, and while I know that price point isn't always an indicator of quality, I've had enough run-ins with cheap products to be skeptical of something as inexpensive of these pens. I'm really happy to say, though, that my skepticism was unwarranted. These pens are wonderful, bright, true to color, beautifully smooth to write with, and comfortable to hold. The fine tip is perfect for using in my journal and while they're bold, they don't bleed through the page (medium weight dot-grid journal) so badly I can't use the other side, and there's a nice assortment of colors so I can color code everything.

I've had these just over a month, and with daily use they still have plenty of life left. I highly recommend them!" —J. Betz

This is perfect. I love that I can put the day in my purse or pocket, and I am set for the day. Mom saw mine and ordered one. Everyone who I’ve shown it to is sold. It’s a great product. So far it is one of the few products I have rated five stars." —Karen R. Starken

Promising review: "I wish I would have gotten these sooner. I bought strawberries for my children, and then I forgot about them. I found them in the back of the refrigerator almost TWO WEEKS later, and they were still good. The real miracle is how long it keeps zucchini. Zucchini starts to get mushy in the crisper drawer after just a few days. Again, these miracle containers have kept it fresh for close to two weeks now. I've kept cut lettuce, cut cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, zucchini, sliced bell peppers, strawberries, blackberries, cut jicama, and carrots in these containers. I've had fantastic results with all of them." —Laura

Promising review: "I am now using my memory foam seat cushion with the lumbar pillow, they perfectly complete each other and transformed my old office chair into a premium orthopedic chair sold in ergonomic furniture stores. Promising review: "This product is amazing. Seriously. Not only does it make PERFECT wings, but I have pretty small eyes that squinch up when I smile, laugh, etc., which is super annoying because my eyeliner is always smudged. These pens though — not a sign of smudging at all. Buy it." —Tara Doyle Robinson

I let a couple family members know where I keep this so that they can access it in case of an emergency. It is such a relief knowing that all these things are together and organized. These are biodegradable and odor-free.

Promising review: "I seriously can't believe how well these little tablets work. I had the most disgusting HydroFlask coffee mug — I tried everything. A bottle brush, different kinds of soap, vinegar, EVERYTHING, and there was still a seemingly impenetrable layer of black sludge inside. I let a tablet sit in each of my mugs for an hour or two, and the black sludge rinsed out COMPLETELY, without even scrubbing. They look brand new. What a magical product. No weird smell or taste afterward, either. I liked it so much I used it on another HydroFlask I use primarily to hold my Bloody Mary mix in the fridge. I couldn't put anything else in it because it would always taste like spicy tomato juice. Bottle Bright to the rescue! No residual smell or taste anymore. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "This is quite possibly the coolest, most versatile kitchen gadget I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I’ve purchased two more for friends and relatives. What can it do? I think the real question is 'What can’t it do?' I truly believe you could replace every cooking appliance (including your oven and stove top) and do EVERYTHING in the Instant Pot. I purchased two sizes for my own use: the three-quart (which is my almost-every-day workhorse for two person dishes) and the eight-quart (which I bring out to handle my dinner party dishes). Everything I’ve tried has been fabulous. In the realm of kitchen appliances, there is no better investment than the Instant Pot. Highly recommended!!!" —Stereoman

Sticky rollers work fine for clothes but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound tabby and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing – he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. A reviewer wearing the black lace bands on their thighs

Promising review: "These are fantastic! I work overnight and wear dresses regularly to the office, I've been using the deodorant style anti-chafing rubs and wanted a longer lasting option. Ding Ding ladies!! This is it! So comfortable I fell asleep in them! No marks, no uncomfortable 'digging in.'

They do take some fine tuning to make sure that they don't roll, but once you find that spot, they don't move! I got the lacy ones and they are sexy and soft to the touch with the silicone on the top and bottom." —A. Spencer

Get them from Amazon for $14.95+ (available in six sizes and 14 colors).

    33. A pack of cleaning tablets to remove the lime and mineral build-up (as well any food residue) in your dishwasher, leaving it clean and odor-free.

Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher, due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then, I became aware that the water softener no longer was doing its job, so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh in Good Housekeeping magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine, per instructions, and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! The glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully on a monthly basis, as recommended. I am amazed!" —Sheila

Promising review: "After having used this for a few months I can confidently say how great this air purifier is. With the wildfires, the air quality in Oregon has been very unhealthy and at times hazardous. Combined with the heat we have no choice but to leave our windows open or the air conditioner running. We also have hardwood floors so the dust, dander, and pet hair gets kicked up very easily. This air purifier has made a world of difference! No smoke smell in the room we run it in and I don't have to worry as much about my son constantly breathing in the smog." —4ngryhoeb4g

    36. A drain millipede so you don't have to call the plumber several times this year.

Promising review: "I tried every drain cleaner known to mankind in an attempt to clear my bathtub's drain and nothing worked. Seriously, NOTHING worked. After reading the reviews on this, I figured what the heck, let's give it a try. I wore elbow length rubber gloves and a medical face mask; I was ready for battle (I highly recommend you do this as well because the splash back is REAL and it smells of demon butt). After shoving it down the drain just once, the most god-awful–looking sea monster of a stinky hair clump came out. I did it about a dozen more times until no more hair monsters came up. I turned on the faucet and that sound of water finally draining through the pipes was like angels singing the Hallelujah choir. That pipe is CLEAR! I can finally take showers again without feeling like I'm standing in a goopy stank pond!" —Kayla Cooper

Purchased these and what a difference, my glasses have never fit better, and often times I forget to take them off, they're so comfortable. Best purchase decision EVER." —Andrea Lincoln

Promising review: "Great steamer, very powerful for the size. Got the job done in half the time it would have taken me to do a traditional iron job." —Maekaeda Gibbons

    39. An Aquis microfiber body towel (the full-size version of the popular hair towel) that's far more absorbent than an average cotton one. Not only will it help you dry off faster, but it'll also dry quickly after each use.

Promising review: "I've been using the smaller 'hair drying' version of this towel for years but somehow it never occurred to me to look for a larger version...until a shoulder injury made manipulating thick, heavy bath towels difficult and sometimes painful. I'm so glad I finally thought of it! These towels not only solve the shoulder discomfort problem, they are actually more absorbent than regular bath towels. They fold easily to hang on the towel rack and they dry out quickly. I think they have a classic look. And they take up less space in my small linen closet. I'll be gradually donating my old bath towels to the local humane society and replacing them with this type. Best purchase I've made in a long time." —Sally M.

I own and swear by these little charcoal bags — read my full review!

Here's an excerpt: "I then tried them on another three-year-old pair of flats that had not been smelling the best since, well, three years ago. After one day, it no longer smelled like anything. And keep in mind that I’m using the same pair of bags back to back!

The product description says the bags are reusable for up to two years; you simply air them out in the sun to rejuvenate 'em once in a while. I’ve been using the same pair now for six months, and they’re still highly effective."

    41. A memory foam topper to completely transform a hard and uncomfortable mattress and help you catch some quality z's.

Promising review: "The saying goes I slept like a baby. But in truth is that babies don't sleep very well. So when I say that I slept like a rock on this foam mattress topper, I slept like the opposite of a baby. I haven't had such a good night's sleep since I can remember until I slept on this foam mattress topper." —Shannon Noling

    42. A waterproof Kindle Paperwhite perfect for beachside (or poolside) reading. Plus, you can download e-books from your local library and save tons of money!

Promising review: "I'm the kind of person who used to always buy the printed copies (I love the smell and feel of books). But I've got to admit this is a really practical way to carry around your books when traveling (it's really light and easy to take everywhere), and it really does feel like reading an actual book (compared to tablets and reading on your phone). The waterproof feature it's really just a wonderful plus." —Daniela

Get it from Amazon for $129.99.

    43. A concentrated mold and mildew remover that'll work on grout, showerheads, or even ceilings with little to no effort on your part.

Promising review: "My husband didn’t think our grout was originally white, but I knew better. I put this on before bed on a section of grout in the shower and woke up to THIS the next morning. Gorgeous and bright white, no scrubbing at all!! Just rinse it off. Absolutely buying another bottle. It wasn’t quite enough for my entire shower, but to be fair, we have a lot of small tiles. I think two bottles will get the whole shower floor." —thekuan

    44. A Maybelline Dark Circles Treatment Concealer with a built-in felt applicator so you don't have to whip out a brush. It'll actually erase all evidence of the fact that you went to bed at 4 a.m. (but unfortunately, it does not get rid of tiredness).

Here's an excerpt: "I still don’t know how a $7 tube of concealer (I use the Neutralizer shade) beats out the more expensive ones I have stuffed into my vanity, but it does. It’s not too creamy or thick, yet it still gives solid coverage without the cake-y feeling.

When I am done with my entire routine, my eyes look lighter and brighter, but not in a way that’s totally obvious — even when photos are taken and the flash is on. Basically what I am saying here is this is a staple beauty product that, IMHO, deserves a place in every makeup bag!" —Kayla Suazo (BuzzFeed Shopping & Products editor)

    45. A password journal to help you remember the (very complicated) log-in information for every website you visit.

It's alphabetized so you can easily find the one you need!.

Promising review: "This was exactly what I wanted. The book has a heavy plastic cover and heavy-duty wire binding. The paper is good quality, although my favorite gel pens did have some bleed-through. I'd recommend ballpoint or pencil. The entries have wide spaces, with room for website, email, username, password, and notes (which is perfect for noting the answers to those security questions... What's your favorite ice cream flavor? I don't remember what I answered a year ago!). The password section has a good number of extra lines, for those sites that make you change your password with annoying frequency." —Amazon Customer

    46. A pack of elastic fasteners as the ultimate solution for sheets that just won't stay put.

Promising review: "These sheet straps are the best purchase I have ever made. I bought a new bed and had to put a thick mattress protector on it for the warranty to remain active, so my sheets fit very snugly. I toss and turn a lot and my dog moves around a lot, so the sheets were always coming off the corner. I bought these, and it only took a couple minutes to put on. It’s been a week and my sheets have stayed in place. This was the perfect simple and cheap solution for a major annoyance." —Shariece

    47. An electric egg cooker that'll save you serious time in the morning. Just hit cook, get ready for work, and ding! Eggs are ready for you in minutes. You'll officially become a person who eats breakfast.

It can make hard-boiled eggs, soft-boiled eggs, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, and individual omelets.

Promising review: "I bought this egg cooker for the first time a year and a half ago, and it is awesome. I hate having a single-purpose appliance in my kitchen, but this is worth it. Making hard-boiled eggs was always hit or miss for me, even if it was timed perfectly. (I admit I forgot about the eggs more than once!) This cooker makes PERFECT eggs every single time, to the exact hardness I desire with no green ring on the yolk. Even better, the shell slides off without taking half the egg white with it! My favorite use is to pop some eggs in when I get home and prep a salad. By the time the salad is ready, the eggs are done. I can even leave the kitchen and still hear when they are done because of the buzzer. I've purchased five more of them for family for Christmas this year and can't wait to get everyone on board the Dash Go Egg Cooker train!" —A. M. Hinshaw

    48. A Waterpik water flosser so you can take your oral hygiene to new heights.

It has 10 pressure settings, seven water flossing tips, and 90 seconds of water capacity.

Promising review: "I love this product. It makes your mouth feel so clean. After using it for several weeks, I noticed several things: no more bad breath, no more bad taste in my mouth, my gums are much healthier, no more bleeding, and my teeth are less sensitive at the gum line. This is, by far, one of the best buys I've made this year.

This Waterpik has two settings and variable pressure, which is great. The pressure setting goes from very light to heavy pressure on a scale of 1–10. Start out on mild setting and work up to a level of comfort. It has a gum massage setting that is wonderful for sore gums or for a person who grinds their teeth. It's very soothing. There are a variety of tips, such as for plaque or deep pockets, which are worth looking at and buying if they fit your needs.

I highly recommend for folks with a lot of crowns, receding gum lines, pockets, or if you are not great at flossing due to bleeding or teeth so close that it's difficult to floss.

It is a good size so storing it is a problem in my very small bathroom, but I don't care. Other issues — well, there is a learning curve in using it. Everyone I have talked to, who has one, has asked me if I have shot water across the bathroom and the answer is yes. My cat flees the bathroom as soon as I turn on the Waterpik now. So use only warm water until you get the hang of it.

I wholeheartedly recommend this product. I like it so much that I'm buying the portable one for travel, and it's on my Christmas list for family and friends." —JS

    49. A honeycomb organizer, because each pair of socks and underwear deserves to have its own spot. When your drawers are this neat, there's really nothing you can't do.

This can be trimmed to fit your drawers.

Promising review: "Okay, admittedly, I am a bit of an organization freak. I purchased two of these organizers (yes, you do need two PER drawer) to organize my underwear drawer. I agree that $20 seems like a lot to pay for a few pieces of plastic to organize a drawer no one else really sees, but... it's totally worth it. The gratification I got from being able to see exactly what I had, neatly organized, easy to find... Wow. I definitely recommend this product. And the actual dividers are well-made and super easy to assemble. As a previous reviewer said, the number of times you will look at your drawer and be totally satisfied makes the price well worth it." —Brigette

    50. A foot roller for giving yourself a nice massage after a long day of standing and walking.

Promising review: "I work a very physical job where I am on my feet 10–12 hours a day. I was experiencing so much pain in my feet that it was unreal. I bought this after reading the reviews and my gosh, I fell in love! I put my feet on this for about 10 minutes a night, and I feel like a million bucks. It's easy to use, I just set it on the ground in front of me when I'm watching TV on the couch. Sit with your back straight and your body in a 90-degree position. Instant relief. Anyone that experiences tenderness, soreness, etc. with their feet NEEDS to get this product!" —Galen Morehead
