    1. A cooktop cleaning kit to dislodge stubborn stains that you previously thought were impossible to remove.

This set comes with a 10-ounce bottle of cooktop cleaner, one cleaning pad, and one scraper.

Promising review: "As soon as I used this stuff, I couldn't believe it! We had a new stove that I didn't clean for months and assumed the burnt pea juice (my enemy) would just be a new stain forever. However, after one application, it was basically gone. I used the scraper that came with it and did one more small application on just that spot, and it was gone! Every time I use this it looks like my stove could be brand new." โ€”Christi Lambertson

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    2. A disposable cleaning wand that'll restore the grossest of toilets to its original state.

This kit comes with one cleaning wand, one storage caddy, and six disposable refills (plus three bonus refills).

Promising review: "So, we have a toilet that belongs to the cats. We don't use it, we don't look at it, we like to pretend it does not exist. Even with semi-regular flushing, cat waste is pretty nasty stuff and built up quickly in the bowl. One of these wands cleaned it up in a single session! Before-and-after pic attached (above)." โ€”Whitney

Get it from Amazon for $7.10.

    3. Or, a pumice stone for giving the ol' porcelain throne a deep cleaning sesh.

Promising review: "I have a 19-year-old master bathroom toilet that had accumulated some nasty stains over time that regular toilet brushes and cleaning products just would not remove. Decided to try this pumice stone, figuring that the worst that could happen would be that it scratched the porcelain and I'd have to replace the toilet... which was what I would have had to have done, anyway, if I couldn't get the disgusting stains out, since I was sick of seeing them and covering them up with blue bowl cleaner tablets. Pumice stone worked like a charm! Given the nature and severity of the stains, it required some elbow grease, but 10 minutes later I have a new-looking bowl, and I see no signs of scratching. Am very happy with this purchase...well worth the very low price!" โ€”Happy Retiree

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    4. A drain snake so you can unclog the sink without calling the plumber.

Promising review: "When my wife and I moved into this new place, we noticed that there was a bit of water that just kept pooling near the drain in the shower. We tried at least two full bottles of Drano with success, but it was short-lived. A bottle of Drano costs about $6-8 for two attempts. One package of these and only ONE of the items used in this package made more short-term progress than all that Drano did. Less than $6 to save over $20 in drain cleaning products or even the prospect of hundreds from calling out a plumber? Hell yeah, I'd buy this again! Your hands will get messy but you will thank yourself for getting these. Your partner will thank you. If you have slow drains in your shower, there are only three words I can say for you to help fix that problem. Buy. This. Product." โ€”Adam W.

    Get a three-pack from Amazon for $5.99.

    5. A pack of descaling tablets to wash away mineral deposits in your dishwasher and keep it running efficiently.

Promising review: "After using this product, I am happy to report that my $5 investment saved me over $500. I was ready to replace my dishwasher, due to super cloudy glasses, residue, and just not getting clean. Then, I became aware that the water softener no longer was doing its job, so I had the rental company replace it. Dishwasher performance improved somewhat. I decided to do two more loads before deciding to purchase a new one. Then I saw a product test review for Affresh in Good Housekeeping magazine. I was ordering some stuff from Amazon anyway, so I added that to my order. When it came, I tossed one of the tablets into the bottom of the full machine, per instructions, and ran the regular cycle. I did not expect the results I got! The glassware that I thought was permanently etched and ruined came out like new. Same with cutlery. The difference is unbelievable. I will use this faithfully on a monthly basis, as recommended. I am amazed!" โ€”Sheila

    Get a six-pack from Amazon for $5.99.

    6. A squeegee that won't leave streaks behind and has a hook so you can hang it on the shower head for easy access.

Promising review: "This squeegee works perfectly in our shower to clean our glass doors, as well as the shower walls themselves. The edge is nice and firm so it cleans on the first swipe. The handle is very comfortable, too. This is probably the best shower squeegee we have ever bought, and it seems like it will last a long while. We also like that we can hang it on the top of the shower spray pipe, to keep it out of the way." โ€”Diane MC

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    7. A bottle of soft cleanser for tackling anything from rusty knives to grease-marked pans to stained porcelain sinks.

One reviewer said it even removed permanent marker! Also, check out a BuzzFeeder's review of Bar Keepers Friend.

Promising review: "Bar Keepers Friend should really be called 'Homeowner's Magician!' I purchased this cleanser in an attempt to revive our stainless steel knife set, which is a great moderately priced set that has seen better days, and I'm extremely happy that I did. The cleanser not only took away the rust spots with minimal difficulty, but it returned them to their original luster! After cleaning our knives, I gave it a shot on our porcelain sink, which I typically have to douse in bleach cleaner to remove the stains from, causing the entire kitchen to be filled with noxious fumes... and it worked beautifully! The stains came clean, and it made the sink look pretty enough to eat off of." โ€”Kat Ferrari

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $9.49.

    8. A stain remover so you can drink wine on the couch without worrying about ruining the upholstery (or the throw blanket that you're cuddling in).

Promising review: "I fell in love with this product some 15 years ago, and I am so very happy that it's still available in the same wonderful formula as ever. It has a fantastic citrus scent and takes care of any stain (not just wine) so fast and so efficiently, it's become a party trick. LOL. I have seriously poured red wine over a white comforter to demonstrate how great it is to a friend once. It is a miracle in a bottle! We use it for all sorts of cleaning on materials around the house, and one bottle has lasted us years! This is definitely a product every home should have." โ€”Melanie Nolen

Get it from Amazon for $5.92.

    9. A 4-in-1 cleaning brush to sweep away the water and dirt marks on your precious suede and nubuck shoes.,

This brush has a welt surface used for stronger cleaning on heavier scuff marks and stains, nylon bristles used for a lighter gentler cleaning on light scuff marks and for thin fine suede/nubuck, an arched half circle brush for easier cleaning on rounded corners, and a thin protruding brush for cleaning harder-to-reach crevices and grooves.

Promising review: "This brush saved my shoes! I posted before and after photos so you can see the difference, my shoes were light pink with big notable stains on the sides, I just brushed it on the same direction until the stains wore off." โ€”Lissette Castillo

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    10. A garbage disposal cleaner that'll blast away odor-causing particles stuck in the pipes. Bonus: it has a fresh lemon scent.

Promising review: "Holy cow I didn't realize how easy and quick it was to clean a garbage disposal until I bought this product! Typically, in my naรฏve thinking, I'd just use vinegar and baking soda down the drain and call it good. Little did I know that there was an actual cleaning product available until I stumbled across it through a BuzzFeed article. So of course, I had to try it. Very simple instructions: it literally takes five minutes and some hot water and VOILร€! You have a clean, no-longer-stinky garbage disposal. Let me say that anytime I got a whiff of an odor, all I did was drop one of those packs in the disposal and the smell was GONE! Plus the blue foam bubbling through the sink was amusing to watch ;-). Worth every penny!" โ€”VadersGirl

    Get a four-pack from Amazon for $4.76.

    11. A pair of deep clean brushes far more durable than old toothbrushes when it comes to scrubbing tile grout.

Promising review: "The bigger brush stayed together without fraying for my entire laundry room. I could do many more rooms with this brush โ€” unlike a toothbrush! Buy them!" โ€”Skylar

Get a two-piece set from Amazon for $5.99 (available in two colors).

    12. A pack of Magic Erasers โ€” a versatile product that can remove marker stains from walls, make an old pair of Converse look new again, and much more.

Promising review: "These are just a must have for any household. It takes stains off walls, sinks, tables, you name it! I used it to remove stains off my wall, mostly from where furniture or people's shoes would scuff it and leave these black marks, and I have white walls so this eraser came in handy to remove all that. And the best part was not having to paint over that stuff when it was just easy to scrub it away! It works really well on stainless steel faucets and sinks, where I use it the most, because it helps take away the dirt and grime that can accumulate over time in a sink, and it's just easy to rinse it again and again and reuse it. They are durable. Although they don't last forever, one eraser can probably get about 30 uses, maybe even more, but just a quick rinse and wringing out like a sponge is what I do. I use mine all the time and with eight per box, it will last and is well worth the price!" โ€”Yvonne Lastra

Get an eight-pack from Amazon for $6.99.

    13. A leather spray to clean and condition an old armchair that's starting to look a little worse for wear.

It'll also work on shoes and bags.

Promising review: "Wow! It's like a new recliner! My leather furniture is starting to show some wear, cracks, etc. Pictures are the recliner halfway done. This stuff makes the leather soft and supple and fills in the lighter cracks somehow. I cannot believe that I was considering replacing the furniture before I tried this! Next I will try my car seats..." โ€”Kristen J

Get it from Amazon for $9.98.

    14. A bottle of fume-free spray that'll destroy all evidence of the fact that you haven't cleaned the oven since you first moved in.

Promising review: "I'm a little embarrassed to write this review; it's been six years since my last oven cleaning... After seeing the results, I couldn't help but spread the word. Sure, it took some beer, a little John Mayer, and a lot of elbow grease, but I got the job done, thanks to this handy little product. It did require two treatments; however, given the circumstances, this product accomplished quite a feat in just an hour. The attached pictures speak for themselves." โ€”William Fredericks

Get it from Amazon for $5.97.

    15. A cutlery brush for a safe way to give your forks and knives a thorough scrubbing.

Promising review: "I love everything about this product. It fits perfectly in my hand, and the hard plastic protects me from getting cut. The firm bristles do a great job cleaning the blades of your knives. I have saved many sponges using this great product." โ€”Craft

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    16. An "Angry Mama" microwave cleaner so the splatters inside can wipe right off with a paper towel.

Just add water and vinegar and place this gadget in the microwave for 5โ€“8 minutes on high heat. Afterward, wipe off with sponge, rag or napkin, and all the grime will come right off!

Promising review: "I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't cleaned my microwave in about six months. It's an awful task. I ran Angry Mama one time, wiped down easily, then ran it one more time to get it detailed really clean. Highly recommend using it more often than once every six months for a super fast, super clean microwave!" โ€”Kelsey

Get it from Amazon for $7.58.

    17. A spray gel to dissolve years-old rust stains right before your eyes.

Promising review: "The photos speak for themselves. When we bought our home, there was no water softener and years of iron buildup. We tried so many things on our shower. Nothing worked. We were convinced weโ€™d be stuck until we renovated the bathroom. The Iron Out worked wonders. I still canโ€™t believe it. We had to let it sit for about an hour. It then dissolved and wiped right off. Definitely use in a ventilated area if possible." โ€”M. Gilardi

Get it from Amazon for $5.48.

    18. A handheld duster that'll actually pick up dirt instead of just spreading it around. Plus, the microfiber head can be removed and tossed in the laundry when you're done.

    Yi Yang / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "We cannot believe how much dust and debris this duster is able to collect. After trying the disposable Swiffer dusters, we were looking for a more environmentally and wallet-friendly solution. This duster exceeded our expectations! It picks up everything from dust to crumbs to pet hair with ease. Once you have dusted to your heart's content, simply toss the dusting head in the washing machine, air dry, and you are ready to go dust-bunny-hunting again. We have always loved the OXO brand and this duster does not disappoint!" โ€”Allison Reed

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    19. An all-natural cleaning tablet for soaking away tea and coffee stains in your thermal bottles. No scrubbing required!

These were seen on Shark Tank.

Promising review: "I wasn't sure if this was a gimmick or not. Turns out it works really well. I have four metal Thermos-like containers that are used to keep tea warm every day. Over time, the tea stained the insides and was very difficult to remove. I added one of these tablets to the container, filled it with hot water, and let it sit for a few hours. When I came back to rinse it out, I was literally amazed at how clean it was. I think it looked cleaner than when they were new. I called my wife over to show her, and she was equally impressed. Awesome product!" โ€”Robert A Moreno II

    Get a 12-pack from Amazon for $7.99.

    20. A bottle of grout and floor cleaner you can use with or without a steam mop. You'll get amazing results either way.

Promising review: "Wow, I'm highly impressed by this product! I bought it based on the high reviews on here. I had a bit of a 'duh' moment when I realized that it's used to be diluted in a Hoover steam cleaner (which I don't have), but I diluted it with water in an empty spray bottle, and it worked just as well! My main goal was to clean our dirty grout. Our grout had been cleaned, stained, and sealed two years ago but went from beige to gray in a matter of time thanks to toddler/dog/foot traffic. I tried the Pinterest ideas with vinegar, dish soap, and baking soda but that left my kitchen smelling sour and the baking soda paste left a scratchy film over my floors that took four moppings to remove. I diluted a bit of the Hoover liquid with water in an old Windex bottle. I sprayed it all along the grout lines, waited a minute, and then started scrubbing with a grout brush. Immediately, I could see the dirty liquid being pushed aside. I had a rag to wipe dry each line of grout. Granted, I was sore from scrubbing each and every line in half of my downstairs, but it was worth it when I saw the instant results. Long story short, this works! Would recommend it!" โ€”Emily H.

Get it from Amazon for $8.37.

    21. A jewelry cleaning solution to make precious stones and metals sparkle like the day you got them.

The solution is non-toxic, and it comes with a small cleaning brush.

Promising review: "I've used this on my wedding set (platinum and diamonds) and on a white gold ring with an aquamarine stone (in the picture I posted), and it worked great! Got a better clean with this cleaner than when I take to the jeweler. The bristles could be slightly more firm on the brush, but that is my only complaint. The jar has a basket with a stick-like handle that holds the brush, which makes for easy, safe cleaning of jewelry. Can't wait to clean other items!" โ€”Mrs. B

Get it from Amazon for $7.95.

    22. A cast-iron cleaner that'll have you singing: ๐ŸŽถScrapers gonna scrape, scrape, scrape, scrape, scrape...๐ŸŽถ (You know, because it works so well.)

Promising review: "Necessary tool to clean your cast iron pots and pans. Perfectly contoured to the rounded corners used by Lodge in their pans so you'll get any food stuck to your pan off easily. The plastic is sturdy, malleable but not so much that it will deform. Been using them for a couple months now, and I haven't had them break, and since I still can't get a properly seasoned coating on my pans, I have a lot of food that sticks (my fault), but these scrapers get pretty much everything off easily." โ€”JGtz

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $5.16.

    23. A wood polish for eliminating unsightly scratches and watermarks from your wood furniture.

Promising review: "This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs that jumped up and scratched places, we also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic. This stuff was like a Magic Eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." โ€”Kris

Get it from Amazon for $8.48.

    24. A double-sided polishing cloth so your tarnished silver accessories and homeware will look brand new again.

    Yi Yang / BuzzFeed

Read my full review of this silver polishing cloth!

Promising review: "Over the years, I have been given more sterling silver jewelry than gold. I never knew how to get the tarnish off, and some of my favorite pieces have been too dull to wear. I started researching and found this guy. I love that it's huge, comes with a storable bag, and the instructions of what NOT to use it on. It got one of my pieces in almost-new condition. The piece even had some discolored spots but after letting it sit after cleaning for a few minutes, even those went away. Very impressed." โ€”Amazon Shopper

Get it from Amazon for $6.99.

    25. A pet hair remover (sort of like a pumice stone for fabric) to pick up everything your vacuum can't.

Some reviewers recommend wearing gloves while using this because it has a rough texture.

Promising review: "This product lives up to its name. Dog or pet hair cannot simply be vacuumed up. Some hair will be picked up by a vacuum, but for the most part, the hair will remain embedded in the carpet. I used the Fur-Zoff on the carpet of my car, and it sure did the trick. It literally picked up the hair. And after you get the hair piled up, just simply vacuum up the clump. Be very careful around edges of plastics, etc., because it will scratch it. I accidentally got careless and knicked the bottom of my center counsel. Around the edges, I would recommend a rubber bristled brush. Just brush the hair to the center and let the Fur-Zoff do its thing. Now I can understand why car detailers charge extra for pet hair removal. It is very tedious but well worth it. I highly recommend this product. And it doesn't cost much too, which is an added bonus." โ€”Geo

Get it from Amazon for $8.55.

    26. A stainless steel cleaner that'll not only polish away existing grease, watermarks, and fingerprints but will also help prevent new ones from sticking.

Promising review: "I was truly surprised at how well this product worked. A friend recommended it, and I thought at this price, I would give it a try. I couldnโ€™t believe the difference it made to my stainless steel appliances. Highly recommend using a microfiber cloth as directed. It buffed out all the smudges and fingerprints and does a good job of preventing future fingerprints. See photo: Right side is before and left side is after." โ€”Amanda

Get it from Amazon for $4.74.

    27. A microfiber duster perfectly shaped for cleaning blinds and AC vents.

This duster comes with five reusable microfiber sleeves. Just throw them in the wash when you're done.

Promising review: "We built in a new community, and the construction dust is a constant battle. I've been using the swifter duster on my blinds, but it just didn't seem to do that great of a job. You would not believe the dust and dirt I got off my blinds! It takes a little longer to do the blinds, but they are much cleaner. I also like that I'm not adding to the landfill when I use this product." โ€”Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    28. A drill brush attachment so you can use less elbow grease and let your power tools do all the hard work for you.

Promising review: "This thing is wonderful. Does the job quick. Could never get the shower and sink clean without killing myself. Been waiting 30 years for this product! Helpful tip: put a plastic grocery bag over your drill with a hole for the bit just to make sure you don't get water or soap spraying onto your drill." โ€”Bad Voodoo

Get it from Amazon for $9.46 (available in five colors/purposes).

    29. An adhesive remover to get you out of all sorts of sticky situations.

    Yi Yang / BuzzFeed,

Read my review of Goo Gone!

Promising review: "I have a terrible habit of putting chewing gum through the wash which then gets stuck all over the barrel of the dryer. For years I'd just put up with having the gunk stuck on there, but I decided to give this a try to get rid of a particularly bad lot that got stuck on. It is amazing โ€” the gum comes straight off with very little work, and for smaller amounts of gum you only need a tiny bit of it. One bottle has lasted for ages. It's also easy to clean off the Goo Gone itself once you're done. Excellent stuff." โ€”mech4bg

Get it from Amazon for $7.88.
