a) The NRA has no idea what firearms anyone has. So its not a registry.
b) The NRA has no idea if the person has ever bought a firearm, all they know is if the person got a hunting permit before such information became private, or if they attended a firearms safety course, or are paid up members. So it’s not confiscation.
c) The NRA has no powers to grant or restrict someone’s firearms purchases or use. So it’s not licencing. It’s a mailing list.
The NRA isn’t fighting against mailing lists.
The NRA is fighting against licencing and registration and confiscation.
You know, like the UN wants.
