Who Does The Most Drugs On "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"?

The Gang Gets High

Posted on

Booze Does NOT Count!

FX / Via nowthatscollege.com

Although many consider alcohol to be a drug, it won't be counted for the sake of this article. They are already alcoholics. They're cool with that. They've moved past it.

Instead, the focus will be on illegal drugs and other substances that the gang uses to alter their minds or physical being. AKA. The fun stuff!

Mac Comes First, Of Course

Mac comes first because he is the cleanest of the bunch. He is only seen trying to get high five times. Two of these attempts are unsuccessful, and one is unintentional.

Although the Elmer's Glue was non-toxic and it didn't get him high, he still huffed! And while the gold spray paint was an unintentional high, it still made him light headed and dizzy!

Dennis, Sneaking In Behind Mac

Tracking Dennis' drug abuse is interesting because it is surprisingly milder than what one would expect coming from such an unstable, deranged lunatic.

Most of his drug use is part of a scheme, so it is less that he actually enjoys using, and more that he is willing to push himself to see how far he can go in order to get what he wants.

Except when it comes to crack. He loves crack. It's his favorite.

Frank Picks Up Scraps

Frank, the financier behind the groups' shenanigans, started off as such a well-groomed, polished professional. Over the series, however, he has learned to indulge and live life! This has led to some extremely interesting drug use.

Not only does he enjoy recreational drugs, he indulges in whatever can help give him a kick or take away the pain of being old.

Here's Frankenstein!

It is obvious that every one of Frank's drug addictions is 100% intentional. The man loves to experiment, get weird, and trip balls. He doesn't always know what drugs he is mixing, but you can bet your boots that it'll be funny!

Squawking Up Next: Sweet Dee

FX / Via itsalwayssunny.wikia.com

It might seem surprising that Dee has the second longest list of abused drugs, but considering that everyone hates her, it all starts to make sense.

While it is true that she abuses drugs to fill the gaping, empty, pathetic hole inside of her, she also does it to fit in with everyone else. She just wants to be seen as equal to the homophobic, sexist, perverted, disgusting, lower class people she calls her friends.

Sweet Dee Got Loaded: 12 Times

Via photocollage.com

Just like her twin brother, Dee has a soft spot for crack cocaine, even if that means she has to pull them out of Roxy's ass first!

Cocaine, angel dust, weed, amphetamines, glue, gasoline, ecstasy...if there's a Will, Dee will happily suck him off just so she can get her next high. This bird loves her some drugs!

Crawling Up From The Sewers, It's Charlie.

Charlie. Sweet, poor, pathetic, desperate, ugly Charlie. His story is so sad that you almost want to give him more drugs to hide his pain.

If this is a competition, Charlie takes the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.

He deserves them all.

Way to go, buddy.

Charlie Escaped From Reality: 21 Times

Via photocollage.com

Well, there you have it. Charlie Kelly is the champion of getting high and damaging all both of his remaining brain cells. Charlie getting high is never without a laugh, though!

Remember, this does NOT include the drugs that are done off-screen. Because, let's face it, we all know that at least one of them is doing a little something every morning...
