Larry David On Bernie Sanders As President: "Great For The Country, Terrible For Me"
"If he wins, do you know what that will do to my life?"
When Larry David was a guest on The Late Show this week, Stephen Colbert asked Larry if he had anything to pass along to Sen. Bernie Sanders, who was scheduled to appear later on in the week.
Larry quickly let Stephen know that Bernie's popularity is a real inconvenience to him:
He expected to be off the hook when Bernie had his heart attack...
...but as of now, he's still worrying about his potential commute from LA to New York City for the next four-plus years.
This morning, the Today show happened to have both Larry and Bernie on the show, and Al Roker made sure to bring up Larry's comments on the air.
Larry echoed his sentiments from his conversation with Stephen and said, "It won't be easy for me."
To which Bernie replied, "I'm giving you a good job for four years and you're complaining."
Before throwing to commercial, Al asked, "Everybody happy?" Larry replied, "Now, not so much."
I don't know, Larry...seeing you on SNL for the next few years sounds pretty, pretty good to me!
