    B-List Superhero of the Day: Supergirl

    First appearing in 1959, Kara Zor-El is the older cousin of Superman. Having been sent to Earth along with Superman, Kara was to be responsible for the safe keeping and protection of her baby cousin. Fate however, intervened, and Kara landed on Earth many years after Superman, but because of the nature of space travel, Kara had not aged. Faced with being a teenager with tremendous power, on a now very strange new world, Kara copes with living a life on Earth.
