YAAAASSSS QUEEN! ๐
Although Anna was officially named 'Queen of Arendelle' at the end of Frozen 2, she still encapsulated queen behaviour long before her reign. She served her kingdom of Arendelle by setting out on a quest to find her sister and end the eternal winter, and she was monumental in restoring peace between Arendelle and the Northuldra tribe. Not to mention, she is SUPER relatable to the everyday queen! Falling in love with someone she JUST met? Mood. Waking up with the messiest, untamed hair? Purr.
Aside from her fear of losing power spiralling into questionable actions and tactics towards the end of her life (#GirlBoss), Daenerys was a total badass of a queen. Also known across pop culture as 'The Silver Queen', 'The Dragon Queen', 'The Queen Across the Water', 'The Queen of Meereen', and 'The Queen of Andals and the First Men' (pheww... let me catch my breath) Daenerys was well respected and worshipped by TONS. Including dragons. LITERAL DRAGONS! C'mon, even mystical creatures adore her - a total queen!
Couldn't have Anna on this list without mentioning her big sister Elsa! Yes, she did technically give up her title to take on a sweet gig as a 'Protector of the Enchanted Forest', but she had a remarkable career as a queen. Sure, she went into a self-issued exile and *accidentally* left her kingdom in an eternal winter, but she did good after! I mean, it wasn't entirely her fault as she is based off of the character The Snow Queen, who did the exact same thing, but because she's evil. And she gave Elsa a key piece of information that helped them restore peace between Arendelle and the Northuldra tribe.
Although her on-screen career as 'The Queen of Asgard' was short-lived, Frigga was a total badass in the comics! She even lead a team consisting of Blade, She-Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Punisher. But as part of the MCU, she was a G. She raised Thor, was one of the very few people Loki actually trusted and loved, and we will not talk about Hela. BUT, as seen in Thor: Love and Thunder she fought in battle with a baby Thor strapped onto her. We can only assume she also fought while pregnant, which although is super irresponsible if your newborn is not destined to be an all-mighty God, it is still totally badass!
The 'Queen of the Amazons' aka Wonder Woman's mom is absolutely stan-worthy. Sure, her mothering can be *a little* toxic - but she did raise and train THE Wonder Woman! She was also Wonder Woman herself in the comics for some time. On-screen she was a total fighter that fought not only for the Amazonians, but alongside them. I mean look at her in action! She is holding a Mother Box (a device that acts as a trans-dimensional portal to transport evil aliens) while doing a flip off a wall and dodging fire. No big deal i guess, just queen behaviour.
Let me start off by saying in order to be the 'Vampire Queen', Marceline had to kill the previous vampire king. She is also totally sick with it on the guitar (that she made with the family battle-axe btw) and great to have as a best friend because she doesn't actually need to drink blood, just anything with the colour red. We love a Queen that is such a great role model, and doesn't bite regulars to drink their blood.
Even before officially a queen, Nala was the MVP of the pride. She did find and bring Simba home after all (after squaring off against him and TOTALLY overpowering him). Also, bonus points for being voiced in the live-action by a real-life Queen, Beyoncรฉ!
Padmรฉ Amidala aka the Queen of Naboo is nothing short of exemplary. She made peace with the Gungans (the most hated entities in Star Wars, both in and out of universe), fought alongside Obi-Wan and Anakin in the first battle of The Clone Wars, and keeping her alive was the reason Anakin turned into Darth Vader and caused chaos and destruction across the galaxy for many many years, killing millions and millions of life. I mean c'mon, look at that smile and those eyes! She also delayed her death to give birth to Luke and Leia. Most people would die on the spot after being choked by Darth Vader. Psshh, wimps!
Of course I couldn't forget the Queen Mother of Wakanda, Ramonda! Like all mothers, Ramonda has had to kept a brave face and stable back for the benefit of her children and the most powerful nation in the world, which she serves. In the MCU, she lost her husband, the original Black Panther and King of Wakanda, T'Chaka; Saw her son, T'Challa hurled of a waterfall (but resurrect); Had both of her children snapped away by Thanos for five years; and now who knows what hardships she will face in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. But it seems she will have to face the *permanent* loss of her son (RIP Chadwick Boseman).
Although her older sister Sansa is the "Queen of the North", Princess Arya Stark is a queen in her own right. She was monumental in ending the 'Great War' by slaying the Night King in the infamous Battle of Winterfell.
And if it counts for anything, the 6ix god himself Drake even notices and appreciates Arya's pluckiness.
