Tell Us What Sustainable Practices You Follow, And We'll Ask A Climate Scientist How Effective They Really Are

Maybe you carry a metal straw, use LED bulbs, or have swapped to cloth napkins.

By now, you know the four R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rihanna. But as the world continues to see the effects of climate change, maybe you've started incorporating more sustainable practices into your life.

And there are a lot of tips out there. So we want to know: In what ways do you practice sustainability?

Then, we're gonna run your practices by a climate scientist to understand how they're effective and why they matter (and hopefully influence some more people to practice them!).

Maybe you've begun carrying around a compact metal straw instead of relying on plastic or paper straws when you get your daily coffee fix (or other drinks).

Do you only use LED light bulbs at home? Or have you replaced all of your paper towels and napkins with reusable cloths?

If you're somebody who menstruates, maybe you've switched to period cups or period panties.

Have you stopped eating meat in an effort to reduce your carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions?

Or, do you compost at home?

Share whatever sustainability practice it is you've committed to, and we'll ask a climate scientist how impactful and effective your efforts are! Plus, you could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
