This morning, the rapper tweeted that he woke up to find the police breaking down his front door. He claimed they had mistaken him for a burglar. The Met police later confirmed this was the case, and that they'd since been in "further communication" with him.

Last night, the rapper was at the Elle Style Awards with his partner, Maya Jama, a radio presenter.

A Met police spokesperson said: "Police were called to an address in West Brompton at 00:55hrs on Tuesday, 14 February to a report of a conspiracy to burgle a ground floor flat, believed to have been vacant.

"Officers attended and forced entry to the property, and found there to be two lawful occupants inside."

The rapper's debut album is due to be released this month after he announced its title a fortnight ago.
