Tried, tested, and totally worth it.
I've noticed that I only need about half as much product as I'd normally use to clean my face— a true blessing for anyone who enjoys saving a bit of money each month. The tiny silicone fronds are way better at removing makeup than my hands alone, and unlike more expensive face brushes, there are no heads to replace or batteries to recharge.

I know it's ~technically~ supposed to be targeted at PMS symptoms, but in truth, it can be anything you want it to be. I've used it to ease cramps, relieve muscle tension, and as a drug-free solution to headaches. The blend of relaxing clary sage, zippy peppermint, floral geranium, and zesty lemon oil is a genius combination that not only feels great, but smells fantastic, too. I love that it comes in a glass bottle, which preserves the integrity of the high-quality essential oils a LOT better than plastic.

It's honestly magic. Just a few scrubs later, my lovely Birks were restored not just to a wearable level, but to near-new status. Since this pocket-size wonder contains enough ingredients to clean over 50 pairs of footwear, I'm convinced it was totally worth it.

Sure, it took me an extra few seconds to put on each patch (so gooey!) but the results were 100% worth the effort. They managed to de-puff my sleepy eyes, brighten up my dark circles, and leave my skin looking glowy as heck, even after a late night of assembling IKEA furniture.

A quick spritz of this lavender-scented spray was enough to banish any unpleasant smells — not to mention that the addition of tea tree oil makes it naturally anti-septic. Sensitive to scents? Thankfully, the smell softens really quickly, so you won't get an annoying headache the next time you mask up. The ultra-fine mist means you won't end up with a soggy face covering, either.

All you need is two pumps to get your face squeaky clean, no matter how much makeup you're wearing. It's low foaming, and won't sting if you accidentally get a bit in your eyes (me). The combo of rose and coconut waters help quell irritation and leave my skin feeling extra happy, too.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $32.
It has supportive and comfortable straps (not teeny-weeny spaghetti versions) that don't make me feel like I'm about to be sliced in half with dental floss. I love the high-rise front, since I'm not really keen on getting a face full of titty while I sweat it out. Plus, my gals stayed put through my entire workout, with no loose nipples, no underboob, and no sliding straps.

The soft fragrance dissipates quickly, so you can still apply your fave lotion or perfume right after, without worrying that the scents will clash. Plus, it's completely vegan, totally biodegradable, and free of parabens and other gunk. It even works great as a foamy bubble bath!
Get it on Amazon Canada for $6.99 (also available in Pure Peace, Energy Boost, and Simply Nourish).
I was able to open even the heaviest doors with relative ease, and thanks to the silicone touchscreen tips, I could flip between paying for groceries and answering texts in seconds. What about push doors, you may ask? NOT AN ISSUE! I just attached the tips to the end and used them to gently prod doors open — no slip, no scratches. Push, pull, tap, grab — this lil' guy does it all, and keeps your hands germ free in the process.

I use this baby every day (okay, twice a day), and I've noticed that it also helps quell any red, angry breakouts and active pimples— compliments of the hefty dose of soothing rosewater!

I found that a lot of skincare products that allegedly helped with tone and texture were actually harsh, drying, or just plain ineffective. But Aveeno really got this one right! It smells great and absorbs right into the skin, so you're never left with a greasy on your face. Plus, it has built-in SPF, which is great if you (like me) are forgetful about your sun protectin.

I loathe cleaning my bathroom, so I'm always on the hunt for products that'll make it easier and less time-consuming. There's honestly nothing I don't love about these scrubbers — they're even infused with Febreze, so they leave my bathroom smelling fresh as a daisy (and not like bleach). It tackled everything from soap scum to mildew, and even got my fixtures gleaming like new.

I pop this little gem in the fridge for a few minutes, and then slowly roll it over my face in the morning and before bed. The smaller end tucks neatly under my eyes to help wake up sleepy-looking peepers. I've noticed that my face is less puffy (thanks, lymphatic drainage!), and that the effects of my skincare are decidedly amplified. Plus, regular jade rolling helps alleviate facial tension, and relaxes those pesky, tight muscles.

First off, they're incredibly lightweight. Like, 'wear all day and never get a headache' kind of lightweight (#bless). These guys also include a slew of neat little features that make using them super easy to use, like a toggle knob that allows you to switch songs, change the volume, and even answer phone calls — without ever having to take out your phone.

This is one of the only cosmetics I repeatedly buy, because it looks great all year long. My personal favourite feature is that it fades into a wonderful, crimson stain on the lips after longer wear, and doesn't leave that annoying lipstick ring that looks like I sloppily drank Kool-Aid. Because it's a lip pencil, it's much easier to apply than a traditional lipstick, so you don't need to be a makeup ~artiste~ to apply it.

I've had headaches all my life and just accepted that ibuprofen was my new best friend. After trying this, I'm ready to break up with traditional pain meds and make the switch, because this lil' guy is no joke. The first time I wore it, my nagging migraine was gone in under half an hour.

It doesn't leave behind a white cast like other dry shampoos do — a blessing for brunettes like me! I love keeping a travel-sized bottle of this in my bag to refresh my hair after a long day, or to ~zhuzh~ up hat hair in the wintertime.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $18+ (available in three sizes). Also available in a value pack.
They don't have any BPA (an industrial chemical that's present in a LOT of plastic products), meaning they're safe for things like fresh fruits and veggies! I love that they're dishwasher safe, meaning I don't have to spend aeons cleaning debris out of them. The leak-proof locking system is genius, too — unlike regular zip-lock bags, they don't open from the middle, but have special tabs at the sides, so they'll never accidentally pop open.
Get it from Amazon Canada for $29.99 (also available in sandwich size and as a stand-up bag).
This blanket can be used as a cozy scarf, a luxe throw, or a meditation rug. I really love using it as a super soft layer during the transitional seasons! It's also an AMAZING travel accessory, especially during freezing car or train rides. It rolls up pretty small, so I can tuck it into my purse or carry-on easily.

I normally have pretty good skin, but every once in a while I get a zit that's a real doozy. All I need is 10 minutes with this mask for my pimples to look way less visible! I love the gentle exfoliating action because it speeds up my skin's healing process, so I end up with less discolouration on my face and a smoother complexion.

Living in an apartment has its downsides — like only having windows on one side of your home. In an effort to brighten up our home office, I decided to string up these firefly lights, and boy, has the game changed. We keep them on all day long and dim them down in the evenings, so we can avoid using harsh overhead lighting. Before you ask: They use a microscopic amount of power, so there won't be an uptick in your hydro bill.

I'm a die-hard eyelash extension fan, so finding a product that was compatible with my extensions was a huge win for me. I love that the formula is naturally derived and doesn't irritate my skin. Plus, it's free of yucky synthetics, like mineral oil, silicone, dyes, and petrochemicals, because I don't want any of that anywhere near my face.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $100.
I use this product every 👏 single 👏 day 👏. Some volumizing products end up leaving my hair feeling sticky, gritty, or just plain greasy — but not this one. It dispenses into a lightweight cloud, meaning I never have to worry about over-applying. It's just a bonus that it smells fantastic, too.
Get it from Sephora Canada for $33.
It's equally as good iced as it is hot, which means I can enjoy this tea year-round. Plus, it doesn't turn bitter if I leave it steeping for too long. I love drinking it mid-afternoon, during that weird time when it's too late to drink coffee but too early to go to bed, and it picks me right up! Make sure you also grab some biodegradable tea filters, too, if you're not a fan of loose leaves.
