On a personal note, The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band for over a decade, and I was almost as bad as Matt Stopera with Britney Spears. I met him once, and he was very nice (although all he wanted to talk about was his then-new poetry book). Now my head just kind of hurts reading this.
