We Tried HydraFacials (And Yes, They're 2000% Worth The Money)

And we've included products to help you get that glow at home, too!

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Some may have been sent as samples, but all opinions and reviews are our own. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

Hi, I'm Valeza and I’m always on the hunt for glowy, dewy skin. I suffered from acne in my late teens and while it’s mostly cleared up now I still have some texture and scarring leftover. I heard great things about HydraFacial’s skin-smoothing and glow-inducing effects so jumped at the chance to try it out (especially as it’s non-invasive!).

I'm Amy, and I have that classic worst-of-both-worlds combination skin (very oily and very dry at the same time). I also have a lot of texture and congestion, so I knew from the get-go I was going to have a disgustingly satisfying post-facial jar of gunk.

The cult-worthy HydraFacial is an hour-long, six multi-step process which consists of removing impurities and dead skin cells while replenishing vital nutrients including antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid.

The overall goal is to reduce the effects of environmental damage along with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and stimulate collagen production for overall plumped, firm, and glowing skin. You can even get your facial tailored to suit your specific skin type (e.g. sensitive or acne-prone). You’re supposed to see and feel the effects immediately, so we prepared ourselves for some pretty impressive results!

    ✨ The Facial ✨

    Step one: Detox

    Step two: Exfoliation

    Step three: Prep peel

    Step four: Extraction

    Step five: Hydration

    Step six: Light therapy

After the light therapy a high-SPF sun cream was applied, and I'll just leave this ASMR-worthy video of my end-of-facial massage here for your enjoyment.
