Hi, I'm Valeza and I'm always on the lookout for clothes that *look* and *feel* really expensive but are actually reasonably priced. Well, I think I've found a corker of a winter coat which I simply had to share with you!
It's from Orolay, and if you don't yet know anything about the brand, they make the most incredible outwear (including THAT famous thickened down coat that has a 4.5 star average rating from 24,254 reviews and counting!).
It's not often you find a sub-£100 Orolay coat, which is why I was so excited to see they had released some new styles for winter, which included the perfect elevated puffer jacket – and for under £80, no less!
I fell in love as soon as it arrived in the post, and here's why...
The first thing that struck me about this coat was that it looks great with dresses, heeled boots, and otherwise fancier pieces of clothing that I previously thought would never suit a puffer jacket style.
Speaking of the sleek design, I love how the shorter sleeve length allows your knitwear or other layers to peek through – it really helps to tie your outfit together when the coat is unzipped.
And of course it goes with casual attire too – it is a puffer jacket after all!
It goes without saying that the oversized style makes it the ideal piece for layering.
And although it doesn't feel at all tight or restrictive, it still manages to keep me warm and cosy thanks to the duck down filling!
The coat is padded but not too thick, making it ideal for when you’re not sure what the weather’s going to be like.
Finally, I'm just gonna address the elephant in the room here – it has deep, cosy pockets and a MATCHING SCARF!!!
