I Think These Are The 24 Most Fashionable TV Shows And Movies Ever Made

Cher and Dionne basically invented the co-ord, IMO.

    1. The Serpent (2021)

    BBC

Okay, so she may have been an accomplice to one of the world's most notorious serial killers, but every single one of Monique's '70s outfits live in my mind rent-free. I also may or may not have cut myself a long curtain fringe approximately one hour after finishing the first episode.

    2. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996)

Every single one of Hillary and Ashley's outfits banged. Also Will's decision to turn his school jacket inside out truly was a ~fashion miracle~.

    3. Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993)

    Buena Vista Pictures

And no, I don't mean the nuns (sorry, Sister Mary Clarence). But am I the only one who thinks the students' out-of-school outfits were sensational? Lauryn Hill basically invented mom jeans.

    4. Killing Eve (2018-2020)

    BBC

    5. Clueless (1995)

    Paramount Pictures

Cher and Dionne (AKA the unofficial inventors of the co-ord) served an impressive amount of looks in the space of an hour and 40 minutes. We ALL remember the classic check print blazer and skirt ensembles, but I think their lesser-known outfits deserve some attention too! Cher's sheer shirt, sweater vest, and mini skirt combo is still super on trend today.

    6. Midsommar (2019)

    10. Romeo + Juliet (1996)

    20th Century Fox

Distinguishing the two 'clans' by their vastly different styles – the Montagues' colour-clashing Hawaiian shirts vs. the Capulets' vampire-chic tailoring – was pure genius! And we can’t forget THAT angel dress.

    13. The Queen’s Gambit (2020)

Beth's sleek '60s style is mesmerising! Her choice in clothing subtly reflects her love of chess – whether through a preference for black and cream colourways or the occasional check print dress.

    14. The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

    20th Century Fox

Okay, I'm slightly conflicted with this one because late noughties fashion was an absolute tragedy IMO. But you can't deny that considering the fashion available at the time, post-makeover Andy was serving absolute lewks!

    16. Peaky Blinders (2013-2019)

    BBC

Yes, we all know the men's suits were as sharp as everybody's jawlines, but I want to talk about the women's fashion for a hot sec. From Grace's bougie boas to Polly's business-chic 'fits, the clothing brought the roaring '20s into full ~swing~ on our screens.

    19. Grease (1978)

    Paramount Pictures

Yes, Okay, Sandy's final outfit was pretty iconic, but for me it was Marty and Rizzo who consistently stole the show with their waist-cinching get ups. I would also pay a LOT of money for a T-Birds-style distressed leather jacket!
