4 The Office Theories That Make Sense!

I know some of these might sound crazy, but honestly, they kinda make sense.

1. Standley didn't survive his heart attack.

A strange The Office fan theory is based on Standley's heart attack in the episode "Stress Relief Part 1"

The theory starts off after his heart attack when all the characters kind of go off cartoonish. The theory shows that Standley is actually in his personal hell.

Standley does eventually retire, and the theory states that he has served his time in hell, and is allowed to go to heaven.

I'm not really sure how I should feel about this one, but it's fun to think about. How the whole show is in Standley's point of view.

2. Toby is the Scranton Strangler.

I have seen a lot of theories for this one, and there is a lot of evidence to go with it.

A huge piece of evidence is in the episode "Viewing Party". It shows all the employees at Toby's desk watching the Scranton Strangler in a police chase, while Toby isn't there. After, at the Glee party, hosted by Erin and Gabe, Toby isn't there either.

Toby's phone also rings, during the police chase. If you actually think, could it be someone asking him about the chase?

Season 9 did reveal who the Scranton Strangler was, (George Howard Skub), but obviously, people didn't believe it was him.

Toby constantly brings up the Scranton Strangler, maybe because he is guilty of putting an innocent man in jail. Also when Toby goes to jail to visit Skub, it is believed that Skub strangled him in revenge for acknowledging the truth to him.

3. Kevin is secretly stealing money.

Could Kevin really be stealing money from Dunder Mifflin? This theory shows that he might be acting dumb, so no one would think he could?

But how could Kevin afford a bar at the end of the series, after being fired?

Kevin directly gives us clues to the things he does in the episode "The Convict", when he says, "I had Martin explain to be three times what he got arrested for... It sounds like what I do here every day. Martin was a Stamford employee who was convicted for insider trading.

4. Roy betrayed Pam... with Angela

It sounds crazy how Roy might cheat on Pam with Angela, but there is a lot of evidence to back this one theory up.

First of all, Roy demonstrates some sort of attraction to Angela, when he said he'd hook up with her in a game of "Who would you do?" in the "The Fire" episode. In The episode "Casino Night", Michael starts out by saying "Old Friends, New Lovers", and Roy and Angela look at each other with subtle attraction.

In "The Negotiation", when Roy returns to the office to get his last paycheck, Angela called him "very strong". In the background, you could hear Kevin laughing, because of course, he knew about them all along.
