1. Meditation/Relaxation

Meditation has been shown to have tremendous physical and psychological benefits. It can help you relax and control stress levels.

2. Make time for “Me”

Having alone time helps you to reconnect from the stresses of the day and recharge in a way that’s healthy for you. This could mean picking up a hobby you enjoy doing, reading, or watching Netflix.

3. Exercise

Regular exercise is great for getting rid of stress and for relaxing. Exercising releases endorphins and hormones that help you feel more positive, which can be great if you are stressed out or feeling down.

4. Read

Reading, like meditation, allows your mind to unplug and focus on something calming. It can help you stop being stressed over the many things that occupy your mind throughout the day.

5. Getting enough sleep

Getting enough sleep (the Sleep Foundation recommends 7-9 hours for people aged 18-25) helps your body rest and your mind recharge. You will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle any problems of the day.
