As Number Eight, you can change inanimate objects into a solid, liquid, gas, or plasma. The catch is that you haven't yet mastered how to change the objects back into their original form once you change them. You're a social butterfly and growing up you were close with and looked up to Number 1 (Luther Hargreeves).

You have the ability to manipulate an object's state of matter

As Number Eight, you can read anyone's mind. You can selectively hear thoughts from people anywhere in the world. To hear what someone who is far away from you is currently thinking, all you have to do is look at a picture of them. Growing up you kept to yourself and didn't interact with the others often except for Number 3 (Allison Hargreeves).

You have the ability to read minds

As Number Eight, you can transfer an emotion someone is feeling to yourself and create energy from it. It helps you to create force fields and energy beams from your hands. The stronger the emotion, the stronger your power. Anger is usually the strongest and most destructive emotion that you harness. Growing up you were a loner and only hung out with Five before he disappeared. That's why you initially hesitant to return home after Reginald's passing.

You can harness the power of emotions

As Number Eight, you can emit a scream that can tear down buildings made of stone. You are also able to change your voice to sound like any person or animal. Growing up you were a prankster and you and Number Four (Klaus Hargreeves) were a force to be reckoned with. After reuniting with your adopted siblings, you couldn't help but use your powers to prank them like old times.
