R.I.P. Nate Dogg
Nate Dogg, the singer of that masterpiece of a tagline from Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001, one of the most iconic lines in sung/rap history--"Hey hey hey...Smoke weed everyday"--died today. The man was a master, a legend. Check the video. The man could sing G-funk chorus and keep his cheeks steady enough to get a hot shave with a straight razor--no nicks. No seeds, no stems. Rest in peace Nate Dogg.
Song Writers for Korean Girlband Sue Gaga for Plagarism
More Gaga plagarism accusations. This time from South Korean girlband SNSD whose writers claim that "Born This Way" plagiarizes their song "Be Happy". It hardly sounds like "Born This Way" in any way, other than being a general rip off of Gaga's sound, but apparently the writers they have a case. Suing Lady Gaga has become the hippest way to make a quick buck in the music industry today, I recommend it to anyone who has released a pop song in the past 2 or 3 years. Gaga's new album will dropping soon, get your songs up on youtube now and in about two months you'll have maybe 13-15 fresh opportunities to file your very own plagarism charge.
