    10 Things You Can Do On ANY Vacation

    It doesn't matter where you go, you can always come back a better person.

    1. Make a Movie

    Take your video camera along or use your phone and film the sights. Better yet, film yourself lip syncing to a song - just make sure it's an awesome song- then edit itall together with iMovie. It's your own travelogue, video, and souvenir in one.

    2. Eat Locally

    If you're on vacation, you're probably in a touristy area. Everything will cater to tourists and you won't see many locals. Get away from the tourist traps and eat somewhere that's full of locals. The food will be amazing, you'll have a great story, and you can actually meet people from the area.

    3. Take A Class

    It doesn't matter if it's a yoga class, a language class, a cooking class or any other type of class. Come back home smarter than you were when you left.

    Feeling adventurous? The best thing to do is to put away the map and go exploring. You're probably going to get lost, but then you get to ask for directions and discover new places and things you never would have come upon otherwise. Accept the confusion and ride it out.

    5. Go out of your way to make nice with locals. They are the best source of information and often will be happy to show you around and fill you in on local color.

    6. Travel Alone And Take An Inward Journey

    Sometimes a few days alone, away from everyone and everything that is familiar is all you need to clear your head and regain your focus. If all else fails, write it out.

    Change up your look or discover a new you all together by hitting up stores that are different (and full of different stuff) than what you, and everyone else back home has .

    8. Get Fit

    Get a day pass or a guest pass to a local gym. Try out some new equipment or test run a new routine. It will ramp up your workouts when you get back home.

    It doesn't matter if it's eating something new or skydiving. A vacation is the perfect time and place to do something outside of your comfort zone.

    There's nothing wrong with being as lazy a possible and recharging.
