I Took An Adults-Only Disney Trip, And Here Are My Top 10 Reasons Why I Think You Should Do The Same

Don't let your imaginations be curbed by the thought that Disney is for only kids.

You may be thinking, “Why are you writing about an adult-only Disney trip?” The answer is simple – why not? My husband and I took an adult-only trip in 2021 and it was beyond – no pun intended – MAGICAL. Below, I've included a countdown of my top reasons why you should take that adult-only Disney trip.

    10. Eat where you want — and what you want.

The picture in the top left is a Charred Strip Steak with Four-Cheese Macaroni with Pancetta, Aged Balsamic-Shallot Butter, and Chianti Wine Reduction from Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. The other picture features fruit sushi and drinks from Epcot.

    9. Go at your own pace.

Sleeping in instead of rushing to the park

    8. Ride the rides you want to ride.

    7. Truly experience the joy of Epcot.

Various pictures from EPCOT including the ball, artwork, aquarium, art, and food.

    6. Experience the things you love in real life.

Dressed up as sadness from inside out, a picture with Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, and dressed up as Ariel.

    5. Enjoy the moments with your favorite characters.

    4. You can decide which resort you want to stay at — it doesn't have to be kid-friendly!

    3. Save money!

    2. There is so much to do at Disney, and you can enjoy alllll of it.

Picture of lunch at the hotel, movies by the pool, dinner at Disney Springs at Chicken Guy, and fun at the arcade.

    1. And the number one reason to visit: you get to be a kid again!

Standing in front of the castle with a balloon. Fireworks at the castle.

As Walt Disney once said: “That’s the real trouble with the world: too many people grow up. They forget.” I say don't forget, take the trip, and enjoy the MAGIC for many years to come.
