Response to 17 Misused And Made-Up Words That Make You Rage:
I guess I should be thankful I am only guilty of two of those deadly sins listed. I mispronounce Meme. I will TRY to stop that now that I know better. I say whole nother. I refuse to stop saying whole nother. I have always been aware of its made up, non-word status. My elders, many of whom are no longer here, used that phrase and when I use it it makes me smile and think of those family members I miss. In reading the comments I should also confess the same applies to the word anywho. I also occasionally use that one. I am equally aware of its non-word status. Still intend to use it. No apologies from me.
