In 2000, the then unknown British actors Daniele Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were cast in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The film went on to gross over 8 million dollars, so it did ok.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston were so cute at the 2000 Emmy Awards. They got married in Malibu on July 29, 2000. Four years later, the perfection imploded. But, we will always have this happy moment when Jen wore red and they glowed like angel babies!

Hollister Co. was founded in July 2000. Fun fact: the brand created a fictional origin story.
