The Waldorf Project: A Synchronisation Of Consumption And Emotional Sentience

So your man was invited to Bethnal Green's Oval Space (one of my favourite venues), to become one of 48 exclusive guests sharing a rarefied experience at the The Waldorf Project: Chapter Two / COLOUR. Building a new world of sense, taste & colour from the previously established Chapter One / Muskmelon - the second chapter unites the senses through food, fine wine, scent, sound, movement and setting, creating a fresh perspective and new challenge in the synchronisation of consumption and emotional sentience. The essential concepts around 'colour beyond the visual' are confined by the simplest building block: the cube. In The Waldorf Project, The cube inspires the entire experience, from the rooms you enter, the chairs you are seated on, to the 'courses' you eat, all reflect the architectural landscapes they interact with. Rare wine treasures, served in gorgeous wine glasses were donated to the project. They include a 1998 Chardonnay Sanford Winery / Au Bon Climat Special Project; 1999 Pinot Noir Sanford Winery/Au Bon Climat Special Project; 1997 Nebbiolo Sanford Winery / Au Bon Climat Special Project; and a 1995 Pinot Noir Sanford Winery Barrel Select. It's a unique, challenging and mind-expanding show - making you re-think art, food, taste and how its all experienced. Check out The Waldorf Project website and a series of pics below.
