How Did We Not Notice This In The Twilight Saga...

I got bored and re-watched the saga and found some things we either didn't acknowledge or notice in the twilight saga that would not pass now. Ps. There were more.

6. Bella Throwing Seth At A Tree

Ok. So I'm a huge BoBo Stewart fan so this may seem strange, but do y'all remember when Bella got mad at Jacob and Seth tried to protect Jacob? Bella threw him at a tree! Un-staning rn, honestly. Okay, but the real list starts now:

5. Bella Promoting Self-Harmful Behavior

When Edward left Bella, she looked for any way to see him. She engaged in multiple harmful behaviors including one that nearly cost her life. I understand that the movies weren't trying to promote these behaviors but it just doesn't feel right knowing that girls are learning that being in danger is how to get attention.

4. Bella's Awful Treatment Of Charlie

Bella would just up and leave whenever she felt. She yelled at Charlie in the first movie to let her leave. I kinda understand that because she was trying to protect him, but then she just stayed in the forest. Then she left to go to Voltori Headquarters tm, and then decided to tell her dad that she was dead despite Bella being the only thing he had at that time. It's the complete disregard for parental authority for me.

3. Bella Cheating On Edward

Bella cheated on Edward with Jacob. This just seemed super unnecessary and like they were throwing a bone to the neglected Team Jacob. But regardless of the situation, it just doesn't sit right with me.

2. Edward Abusiveness Towards Bella

Okay, so everyone talks about how Edward was kinda creepy in the first movie, but that would not pass today. We get that he is a vampire but their relationship was abusive both physically and mentally. Movie 1: Edward sneaks into her house to watch her sleep. Movie 2: He leaves her after shoving her into a table, injuring her and making the situation worse. Movie 3: He lies to her, tries to keep her from being with Jacob. Movie 4: Despite the obvious things, he doesn't support her at all until the very end of the pregnancy and constantly tries to convince her she is wrong for wanting to keep the baby.

1. Jacob Imprinting on Renesmee

I honestly don't care how they tried to justify it. Jacob said it wasn't like "that", but, okay really what are we supposed to think when Jacob jokes around calling Edward "dad". Like that's super not okay and wouldn't fly today. Every time I saw Jacob and Renesmee either sitting in the back of the car, on the couch, touching in any way, I just cringed.
