Daniel recreates organic forms using hand-built moulds to make stunningly natural porcelain casts of gourds, pumpkins, onions and lettuces. Originally a furniture designer Daniel now works from his ceramics studio in London. This is a medium Jack Fruit cast bowl in stonewear.
Intricate typographic map of Central London. The map can be contemplated as an abstract texture, as a location or as a series of words. Prints are hand-pulled (screen-printed) on archival printmaking paper. Texture and vibrancy of colours convey an air of heritage while the character comes from slight inconsistencies in the ink levels.
