Community·Updated on Apr 15, 2022I'm A Marvel Connoisseur, So Here Are My Official Ratings Every Show And Movie In Phase 4 Thus FarIt's just my two cents!by Neira✨Community ContributorApproved and edited by BuzzFeed Community TeamLinkFacebookPinterestTwitterMail Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is less than a month away. There were so many shows and movies released in Phase 4 that I felt the need to go through each one. I must note that this is my opinion and there are 🚨SOME SPOILERS!🚨 DisneyPlus / Via disneyplus.com WandaVision - 8.5/10 Disney Plus / Via disneyplus.com What I liked: I think this show really set the pace for the new phase of Marvel. In fact, it was pretty epic! I thought it gave a nice nostalgic feel to the evolution of TV shows with every episode, but still kept me hooked with the storyline. I think I thoroughly enjoyed watching Wanda’s growth and definitely enjoyed singing “Agatha All Along."What I thought could be better: For me, it was a little bit slow at the beginning. I was trying to grasp what was happening and it took me a minute to figure it out. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - 6.5 Disney Plus / Via marvel.com What I liked: TFATWS had such a great representation of reality. Along with superhero plots, the show revolved around social issues that affect people today. We never seem to stop and address these situations so, I thought that was amazing how they normalized iconic heroes by acknowledging those subjects. Also, let’s not forget the hilarious and unforgettable bromance between Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson. What I thought could be better: I did feel like this series was a little predictable when it came to the reveal of The Power Broker. Along with everyone else, I truly didn’t like John Walker. Loki - 8 Disney Plus / Via disneyplus.com What I liked: I loved this show! The chemistry between Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson was by far my favorite! I enjoyed watching learning about the TVA and exploring the concept of variants. Kang the Conqueror was super cool to introduce and the ending had me wanting more! What I thought could be better: It may just be me, but I didn’t like the sudden spark between Loki and Sylvie. They are great as people, but falling in love with each other? I’m still wrapping my head around that concept. Black Widow - 7 Disney Plus What I liked: I loved that Black Widow finally got some background in her own movie! I loved Yelena and instantly felt a nice vibe from her. I think the storyline was fitting well with the timeline of the MCU. It was pretty cool to see where Natasha grew up and where she trained. I think it was also cool to envision her family too. What I thought could be better: While watching this movie, I felt like there wasn’t too much of a “WOW’ factor. It seemed like there was something more that could happen in the movie, but that could just be me. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - 9.5 Disney Plus / Via disneyplus.com What I liked: I absolutely loved this movie! Between the fighting scenes, storyline, graphics, and music, Shang-Chi was super entertaining! I think this was a fresh take on origin stories and I can’t wait to explore this more! I think showcasing Asian lifestyles and beliefs is enlightening! I think I enjoyed this movie so much because it connected to Iron Man and Doctor Strange! It was super funny and I would recommend it to anyone! What I thought could be better: I think I would like to see a little more of Xialing and how she was able to own a fight club on her own! What If...? - 8 DisneyPlus / Via disneyplus.com What I liked: I thought the concept of this series was pretty cool! It was something new and I was looking forward to every single episode because of the infinite possibilities! I would've never thought about how the choices in the MCU are pivotal to the characters' outcomes! I think everyone got a taste of what the MCU can do and it was a nice touch to make it animated. What I thought could be better: Personally, some episodes were more exciting than others, but what bothered me the most was how easily Thanos was defeated. It may have some people rethinking the power Ultron could have. Eternals - 5 Marvel / Via marvel.com What I liked: I liked the introduction of the characters and the plot twist in this movie! It was a new take on meeting new heroes and it was really interesting to see Angelina Jolie and Kit Harrington in a Marvel movie! Also, you Harry Styles fans likely had a great time with the post-credits.What I thought could be better: I think the movie had a lot of potential to be greater than it was! I think the entire storyline was a bit rushed and didn’t give us enough time to really connect with the characters. Personally, I would’ve loved to see more of their backstory instead of the constant flip between the present and the past. Hawkeye - 6.5 Disney Plus What I liked: I liked how they referenced Kate’s backstory and aligned it with the first Avengers film. I think it was nice to see Clint Barton on another adventure and have him bring out some humor too! I also enjoyed seeing the main villain here! It brought some crossover energy and I loved it!What I thought could be better: This show felt a lot more PG than the others. Yes, they sent the bad people away, but the action wasn’t as intense as in other shows. Maybe it’s because the show was set around Christmas or maybe it’s just me. That’s just my two cents. Spider-Man: No Way Home - 10 Marvel What I liked: WHAT. A. MASTERPIECE. This was nothing that I could've ever imagined! It was a perfect blend between the nostalgia of the past and the innovation of the present. It was just pure awesomeness. Seeing Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland work together was the best thing I have ever seen in a movie. They made references to other Spider-Man universes, brought back villains from the early 2000s, and made everyone cry tears of joy. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!What I thought could be better: Letting Tobey and Andrew have more screen time!! Moon Knight - 8.5 (So far) Marvel/Disney Plus What I liked: Although this show is just starting out, I am growing to love it. It has a completely different style to it! I like the Egyptian setup and I am definitely loving Oscar Isaac playing Steven Grant and Marc Spector. He is brilliant when switching between both characters! I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds! What I thought could be better: So far, I think it is flowing nicely, but the first episode will fly by if you aren’t watching closely! Fasten your seatbelts because Phase 4 is just getting started! Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be in theaters on May 6th, 2022!
