Castle in the Sky is the first Studio Ghibli movie made and my favorite. Honestly the introduction and opening scene is perfect. The art work is lovely and the music makes it. I sometimes feel as though I watch the movie for that scene alone.

Atonement messed me up. My head is still reeling with the fact that Cecilia and Robbie never really ended up together. Briony saying that she made up a happy ending for her sister and Robbie because she felt such guilt for ruining their lives wasn’t what I was expecting.
