We Used AI To Show What "Percy Jackson" Characters Would Look Like In Real Life Based On The Books, And I Can't Wait For The TV Show

With the new Disney+ series coming out soon, it's time to go back to the books and remember that Chiron does not look like Pierce Brosnan.

The Percy Jackson books have been adapted into two movies, and now, there's an upcoming Disney+ series based on the books.

And if there's one thing fans love to argue about, it's how casting matches the image of a character we make up in our heads. So we used AI to create portraits of Percy Jackson characters based on how they're described in the books to compare them to the two casts.

Note: Remember that these comparisons are for fun! Rewriting and casting an adaptation to incorporate more diversity and representation is more important than casting someone who looks exactly like the book description.

To make these portraits, we used Artbreeder to take some existing faces, morph them together, and add all the features described in the books. Here are the results:
