Half of making a movie successful is marketing it well. The other half is actually making a good movie — and unfortunately, some movies just don't live up to the hype.
So, have you ever been all excited about a movie, only to be monumentally let down when you finally see it? Was there one that left you saying, "Really? That was it?"
Like, maybe you saw The Notebook because you heard it was romantic, but you just spent the whole time thinking about how rude and awful Noah was.
Maybe you were excited for Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief because you'd read all the books, but the movie deviated completely from the original story.
Or maybe you spent years getting excited for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, only to be disappointed by the cringey dialogue and everything about Jar Jar Binks.
