Shortly after his death was announced, Adam took to Twitter and shared his heartbreaking reaction to the news.
"Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid," he wrote.
Adam went on to express his grief and shared that "all our hearts are broken," in the wake of Cameron's untimely death.
Cameron's Jessie co-star, Skai Jackson, also released a statement on Sunday, writing, "I am at a loss for words. I never thought in a million years I would be writing this. Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken."
