Many women, femmes, and gender-nonconforming people have had an experience where harassment made them change or stop how they worked out.
Maybe you, like the person who wrote this Twitter thread, changed your running path after getting followed and stalked — and then had to stop running altogether because of how dangerous it got.
Perhaps you were harassed while you were just trying to do some cardio at the gym, so you switched to an all-women gym.
Or maybe you wore tight-fitting pants to spin class because they were specifically designed for optimum cycling performance...and then you got groped in them, so you had to either wear different workout clothes or stop going to spin class.
