This Little Boy Had The "Mrs. Doubtfire"–Themed Birthday Party Of Your Dreams

There may or may not have been a run-by fruiting.

Mrs. Doubtfire is no doubt (pun intended) an American classic, a movie for the ages.

It's also, it turns out, a movie for all ages. Four-year-old Evan Kowalski loves it so much that he themed his entire May 13 birthday party around the 1993 film.

"I started showing him some of my favorite childhood classics and found that he enjoyed them, so about six months ago, I showed him Mrs. Doubtfire and he loved it," his mother Laura told BuzzFeed. "I didn't think it would be enough to make him want a Mrs. Doubtfire–themed party, but apparently he did!"

Laura quickly found out that Pinterest and Etsy had "absolutely nothing" for Mrs. Doubtfire parties, so she had to get creative with the details. Her cousin, an artist, drew portraits of the movie's title character as decorations.

The party was held at a local gymnastics studio, where they thought the theme was "hilarious," Kowalski said.

There were also some fruit kebabs, perfect for a run-by fruiting.

And the pièce de résistance? A multi-tiered birthday cake filled with movie references, made by Cakes by Sweetypants.

The soccer ball! The broom! The dentures!!!!

It even has Euphegenia Doubtfire's classic line about her nannying credentials.

"When we brought the cake out, the parents at the party literally swarmed the table to take pictures," Laura said. "I wish I had thought to take a picture of that!"

Evan's friends were also treated to DIY Doubtfire goodie bags.

"There's no such thing as Mrs. Doubtfire goodie bags, so we printed off some pictures of her and wrote on each bag 'Thank you for coming, ____ dear!' which is something Mrs. Doubtfire would say," Laura said.

Now that's what I call a party.
