Rom-coms make it seem like meet-cutes are as common as seeing cute dogs on the sidewalk.

Every time you pay for groceries, go on a walk, or take the subway, you're bound to run into your next great love, right?

Guys???

Some meet-cutes are pretty implausible IRL.

But some have definitely happened to non-movie characters, regardless of whether they led to an actual relationship.

And when they do happen, they sound like straight-up ~fairy tales~.
