I agree in principle with the Greggs idea but the sausage rolls I had in there went straight into the bin. My American friend tells me the whole meat and pastry thing is not a biggie over there.
Some of these surprised me like the lack of holidays Americans get,especially when your minimum wage really is so minimum. Surely it would improve productivity.
Bank holidays usually represent part of the annual leave; 20 days plus bank holidays rather than 28 days + BH.
I've heard this, that's so strange coming from such a big place. Or does the size mean people don't travel so much. We have Europe just a little way away but apparently we don't make the most of it.
