Why Hollywood Should Pay Attention To Black Nerd Girls

We barely see any comic books, Sci-Fi Fantasy movies or TV shows featuring black girls. Maybe Hollywood and the industry thinks there is no market but trolling the internet will prove them wrong.

1. This cosplay girl looks like she can take on Hellboy.

2. A lot of people might not know which Anime character this is, but she and a host of others do.

3. Is this commitment or what?!?

character: Hannah From Series: Black Butler

4. Search tumblr and you’ll find fan art like this.

5. Or this. Come on, studios, can’t you picture Kerry Washington in this movie?

7. Octavia Butler’s fans are dying to see her books made into movies. FOLKS INTERSPECIES SEX HERE!

Octavia Butler’s Xenogenesis introduces the alien species, known as Oankali, who come in three sexes – male, female and ooloi, a sex that mixes and manipulates the genetic material produced by the other two.

8. Wouldn’t you watch a movie with her in it?

10. Fr now though Michonne is our current fix. Thanks AMC.

11. But we want more actresses like Danai and more TV shows like “Walking Dead” featuring black actresses.

12. Daenerys isn’t the only one that likes dragons.

15. And every once in a while music videos will give us what we want.

16. In the meantime we’ll continue to cosplay and troll the internet for Afro-futurism images for us.
